January's Drawing Poll 2 Results

Hey, so Holly is our winner of the second drawing poll of this month. She will recieve an update illustration... I tell you guys, she is gonna be quite bigger in this illustration. The effects of Trent's farm is gonna be visible in our "dog girl".

Also, Claire came in second place, so she will get a small cameo in the comic.

I've talked with Howdythere5 and we release the chapter 2 of Rounding Out Rachel this week, so, get ready!!

I tried to give the colors a small touch to recreate the party atmosphere described in polaris' chapter. Don't know If I achieve it, you tell me! Nevertheless, I'm quite happy about this one. I think Kelli looks awesome and Amber design is quite distinctive.

Lucy Before&After

Hey! Look has made a comeback, my firstborn, Lucy! It's been really fun to draw her again after all this time. The last time was with pencils, now she has made the jump to digital. How do you think it fits her?

Lucy was voted on the drawing poll of this month for tier 3 and 4 patrons. 

I'm starting a comic!

So, you guys have spoken, and there is a big mayority (80% to 20%) that wants me to start a WG comic. So be it!

How things are going to be around here now? I'm going to be as clear as possible so  you guys know what you are paying for. 

- Illustrated stories: This stays the same. I will keep delivering the chapters and illustrations at the same pace as it was planned. I can't give you an exact schelude since it is a collaboration and it doesn't depend only in me. Currently, we have two ongoing stories: "The Fat Girlfriend Trap" and "Rounding out Rachel". These stories have still a lot of content to be release but, when they are finished, my idea is to create new ones. You can always rely on this patreon page to have good ongoing illustrated stories, as it is the house brand since I started my DeviantArt 8 years ago.

- Drawing Poll: In order to make sense of existence of tier 3 (Steph Tier), I'm going to still create drawing polls for you guys to decide what I'm about to draw next. Since the comic project will take a lot of time, there will be less drawing polls or the drawing polls will involve less drawings (for example: instead of a 6th part sequence as the Emma one, it could be shorter one, or just a standalone illustration of the character of choice). The idea is to still creating at least 1 or 2 drawing polls per month. If you guys feel that this is not enough to justify the tier 3 subscription, I recommend you to downgrade your tier to the Emma one (Tier 2). Depending on the people remaining on this tier I will try to give more or less priority to this element. 

- Comic: So, I'm very excited about this and, at the same time, scared as f*ck! It is without any doubt the most ambitions project I've ever done. I already have some of the script done, and I have made the design of the protagonist. It's looking good! However, I haven't started yet creating a properly comic page, so I don't really know how is gonna turned out or how much time I'm gonna need to finish each page. I don't even know the best way to put the pages together (if draw every panel in the same file or make each panel separated and then put it all together...) This is an uncharted territory for me. I guess I will learn as it goes, but, please, be a little patient with me at first... there is so many things that could go wrong!! Remember that the amount of content per week will decrease a little bit once the comic starts in order to make this a reality. 

These are the three main elements this patreon will be focused on for the next months. There is also the possibility of a new "Writting Contest". But since the last one didn't turned out so great, I'm afraid of assemble a new one. Let me know in the comments below if you think it is a good idea. We can always widen up the time for the deadline to deliver to two months instead of one. 

- Schelude: So, chapter 3 and 2 for TFGT and ROR are around the corner, also the illustrations that go with them. Also, in the next weeks I will be finishing posting the Emma sequence, the Lucy's before & after and the Jenn & Caroline sequence that won the last drawing poll. I will also hold an early january drawing poll. After all that content is posted, the comic will start! Of course, there will be sketches and WIP of everything in early release for tier 2, 3 and 4 patrons. 

Speaking of sketches, I will post tomorrow the sketch of the comic cover so you have the chance to meet Ivy ;)

Should I start a comic?

Before voting in the poll below, ear me out, please!

So, since I launched patreon and I've been dedicating more time to drawing, I've been toying with the idea of starting a WG comic. It could be amazing, right? Comics are more engaging than standalone illustrations and it's a great way to portrait a story, as some of my favourited artist have done in the past or are currently doing (Kastemel, BWS, Kipteitei, Magmaman, etc).

However, comics take a lot of time. Much more time than a regular illustration. And that's why I'm a bit insecure about starting one. Even if I dedicate the same time as now (or even more) to drawing for you guys, the amount updates here would decrease per month, as create each comic page would take the time of many single illustrations. I'm afraid that if I start a comic, the updates wouldn't be enough to satisfied you and I would lose many patrons (which obviously I don't). 

Yesterday, the good Monkfish asked me about the possibility of a comic on the AMA. I explained him this and he made a good point. Why not bring it up to you and let you decide about it?

To be more specific with the two options ahead:

Option 1. Keep things as they are.

Option 2. Starting a comic. If I start a comic there will be less updates. I will be focus on the comic and the ongoing illustrated stories I'm currently working on ("The Fat Girlfriend Trap" with Polarisdreamer and "Rounding Out Rachel" with HowdyThere5). 

Please, take the time you need to think about the options and the implications of each one. Your opinion matters a lot.

Hey! Here it is the second illustration for "Moving In"! 

In this illustration she should be around 280 lbs. Hope you guys find Emilia as hot as I do! I wish Polarisdreamer finds a place for her into the "polarisverse" and we keep seeing her from time to time.

Remember these two illustration were the reward of the writting contest. Hope you like both illustrations and that they have motivated some of you to participate in the future if we run a contest like that again.

Hi guys! Since I canceled the Violet story, tier 3 patrons have lost one important project where they could use their exclusive voting power ability.

How is gonna work now for you guys? So, for the moment I'm not gonna start a new interactive project. I might do in the future!! But, for now, what I'm going to do is create more "Drawing Polls" where you (tier 3 and 4) can exclusively vote for what I'm drawing next. This way you can use your voting power as often as I was still developing the Violet story. I think it is a fair trade, at least for this month.  

I want to say thank you all for your support and to say sorry again for the cancelation of that one without further notice. Things not always go the way one expects.

Violet Project is canceled

Hi, guys. I'm sorry to tell you about this but the Violet Interactive Project is canceled because of serious personal reasons. 

You won't see the amount of content reduced by this cancelation, so don't worry about that. All the other projects will continue as normal and I will think of a new one to fill the void of this one. 

I would like to give you a much detailed explanation but it is a very sensitive topic and I want to put it behind me as soon as possible, since it has caused me a lot of distress during this past week.

December's Newsletter

Hey, guys! How you guys doing? I want to give you some news about what's coming  in December and in the future!

So, we will continue with the ongoing projects you already know, this is:

*** Violet Interactive Project.

*** The Fat Girlfriend Trap (with Polarisdreamer)

*** Rounding Out Rachel (with HowdyThere5)

The last two will depend on my partners but you will definitely see the illustrations of the next chapter of both stories this month. Also, you will see ton of Violet as I really like the project.

*** Writing Contest. I will work on the illustrations for "Moving In" the story by Polarisdreamer. You will get 2 illustrations of it. 

*** Poll Winner. I run a drawing poll a few days back between my tiers 3 and 4 patrons. Most people vote for "drawing one of my OC" and a couple persons mentioned Vanessa on the comments, so I'm gonna make a Before and After illustration of her.

*** New WG illustrated story. I've started working with Neversaywhen to create a brand new wg illustrated story. It will have between 4 and 5 chapters with their illustrations. I don't know if we will see it begin this month, though, since It depends on Neversaywhen. But it's on the works!!

*** Emma Sequence. I've been working on a Emma sequence since she won the poll for the next one. I have it almost done but I won't release it now since we just finished the Steph one and I want to give a little push to the Violet project. But don't you fret, your favourite ginger will have her long overdue sequence (and a big one, six stages!).

*** Standalone. I might revisit some of my older OC and give them a standalone illustrations, just to see how the digital art suits them. Let me know which one you would like to see more!

Yesterday the deadline to participate in the writing contest that I organized at the beginning of last month closed. I must say that it has been a great disappointment for me, because the contest only had the participation of one writer. It's my fault for not having read your interests well and assuming that you would be hyped and interested in something like that. Nothing happens, I will learn from this and I will try to accomodate my patreon's initiatives better to your real interest in the future.

The winner, whose story I will publish in the next post, will receive the two promised illustrations for his story. Hope you enjoy his story and the future illustrations that will be done through this month.
