Jyn Erso Wig Progress

Just a little collage in how I styled my wig.
First I started with the layering in the front by sectioning it off and pulling the rest of the hair in the back. Once I got the framing around the face perfect, I moved on to cutting and curling the rest of the wig.
In the film, she has her hair styled in a small sock bun in the back but I made sure to curl the entire wig so I could get the proper texturing before throwing it into the updo.

A Bit Wiggy

Omg! I'm so happy with the wig I bought for Abby Chase! It only needs a tad bit of styling. The front is a bit long for my taste (kind of too Spice Girls throwback-y). But other than that, it's perfect and I don't look like a goober in it hahahaha

Oh La La Saber!

As a ruler, Arthuria is strong and elegant, firm but compassionate- she is a warrior who defies expectations. These are just a few of the things that make Saber an amazing character.

August Exclusive Reveal: Abby Chase

Let's extend the summer fun, shall we? As planned, I've found a bikini cosplay I want to do for the month of August- Abby Chase from Danger Girl.
As you guys know, I love all things 60s, James Bond, Austin Powers, and No One Lives Forever. Danger Girl most certainly falls in that category. Who doesn't love some sexy spy action?!
I'll probably look like Atomic Blonde, but there's nothing wrong with that ;)

Taarna Returns!

Exclusive Photoshoot Complete!

Here's a BTS shot of the video I took for the freakin' amazing Rin/Archer mashup I made for the exclusive shoot! I'm so excited to show you guys the final product! I'm seriously in love with this new Cosplay! Rin is one of my favorite characters from the Fate series and I always enjoy portraying her. She's just such a boss- intelligent, confident, and a great fighter. There are so many great characters in Fate but she stands out to me as a great role model.

I'm a bit sad I'm leaving SD today, but I'm headed back up to LA to begin a few more fun projects that may just become something amazingly cool.
Filming for "A Beautiful Place" begins Aug 12 and our Indigogo has been live for a week now. I'm hoping we'll raise enough to meet our goal before we hit our film date. Taarna Redux!

Look who's back and better than ever! I re-designed Taarna and brought her to SDCC (with a bit more covering the butt area lol). I was very happy to be able to show her off and rock out with the folks who knew who I was. Bless the rock and roll fans!

Beatrix and Elle

My sister and I took the floor at SDCC today as Beatrix and Elle! Everyone really loved our cosplays. I'm very happy we could run around and have fun together. It's not often we're on the same coast <3

Creepy Claws!

Here's a special up-close look at the claws I made for the trailer of "A Beautiful Place". The claws themselves are made of scraps of Worbla that I molded to fit my models fingers. This way their a custom fit! A few highlights on the details and then they really pop! These were designed with the black and white motif in mind.

🍔Louise at SDCC🍔

Louise came and conquered SDCC today! I had such a good Thursday at SDCC. I walked the whole convention hall, pretty much anonymous in my Louise Belcher cosplay, and looked at all the beautiful and exciting things! And of course I met tons of my friends!
Tomorrow I wear my re-imagined Taarna cosplay for the first time at a con... we'll see how that goes lol ;)

Monster Design

BLOOD!!!

I'm Gonna Kill Bill

Working on the blood spray! How does one do this you ask? Well Tulip has a spray bottle version of their fabric paint. Depressing the pump halfway results in a messy squirt instead of a mist creating a blood-like splatter effect. It's not very controlled, but I managed well enough.

Rin Progress!

Rin is so close to being done! All I need to do is stop off at the fabric store one more time to complete the top part of the skirt and finish the armor pieces.

Saber Shoot!

Today Alf and I completed yet another version of saber for our photo book! This project has been over a year in the making and we are very proud of the images that have been produced for it. We plan on endingour project with the last shoot being at the Hall of Fire in San Francisco in my Nero armor.

Silver Boobs!

Just call me, Silver Boobs, your friendly neighborhood Grail Servant! So as you can see, Rin/Archer is coming along nicely! The top is complete.
I used a latex covered spandex by Yaya Han (my fabric line obsession) for the boobs and a very thick black jumbo spandex for the body. The silver pieces were carefully cut out of the spandex and used as appliqués. I sewed them on using the stretch stitch option on my machine.

SDCC First Look!

Look who's going to SDCC!!! I'm so pleased that my Beatrix Kiddo cosplay is all done! (Just waiting on the shoes to be delivered)
Man, I'm going to be super comfy this comic con! The crowds are so huge, I wanted to be able to have full movement in case some ninjas are after me... you never know.
