So the elbow armor was 20% less hard to make than I thought. It's an interesting shape but I only needed one seam in the end, which will be nice come sanding time.
Also, I added a bottom band to the bracers to smooth out the look... I'm not sure if I shouldn't add one to the top or not. Suggestions?
What's a ruler without a fancy headdress? Well Jeanne's headdress is super odd lol. I really had to draw a few mock-ups before I got the shape just right for my tiny face. It's not fully complete. I need the middle ornament and the dangling pieces on the sides. However, I thought I'd show off my progress.

Hey everyone! Jeanne d'Arc shoe armor is all finished and ready to be primed, sanded, and painted. Yeah, that sounds like a lot, and it is, but at least I'm not burning my fingers off on hot plastic anymore!
I am using Worbla's Black Art series for this project. I've never used this type of Worbla before, so it's been an interesting experiment seeing how it works as opposed to regular Worbla. It's certainly more expensive, but it seems to take curves better than the regular stuff and it's...

I love this photo Pat Loika took of my Comic Suicide Squad Harley Quinn and I'm super happy to share it with you all! Honestly, I think it's one of the only professional shots I have of this cosplay. It's a shame because I really put a lot of effort into making her.
