Inheritance Progress Report 2/4/19

All things considered, this week is off to a really good start.  

Resolved a couple of issues on the home front that needed doing, none of which cut into my time as much as I had feared.

Spent about three hours adding submission work to Inheritance.  Added around 5k words in total.

Spent a couple of hours storyboarding out a few things I want to write this week.  Not sure how many of them I'll be getting done this week, but I'm excited to see how far I can get...

Download Issues

It's been reported by several people that for some reason the files I uploaded to Patreon last night for the Last Stand of Ra build are downloading as binary files.

First, the solution:  The files can still be opened using winzip/winrar or whatever compression tool you use.

The problem:  As close as I can tell, this is a problem on the Patreon side of things.  I uploaded rar and zip files the same way I do every time, they show up ...

What should I work on this coming week?

Those of you who have been with us for a while know what to do already,  but I'll take a moment to explain things for the rest of you.

The last few days have been more chaotic than usual.  And unfortunately not all in a good way.   Wed & Thur went sideways on me.  Had some unexpected stuff come up related to Inheritance (Not a bad thing) and had some unexpected stuff come up on the home front (Bad thing.)

Last Stand of Ra Progress Report 1/28/19

Today was a blast.  I opted to trade in my "Writer's Choice" votes from our weekly "What should I work on" poll and made this a Last Stand of Ra week.

Since we'll be seeing the first real release of that game this coming Friday, all of the content I'm creating is going to be saved and actually coded into the game after the release so there's plenty of time to test it before it sees a more general release.

Inheritance A25T6 Test Build

Been a busy work, a lot of it has been back end stuff, code work and working on things that didn't make it into this particular test build (But will hopefully be ready for the next one.), but we've still got a lot of new content for all of you fine people to enjoy!

Had another really good day today.  But it's late, and I'm tired, so this is going to be fairly short.

Had another really good day today.

Managed to write a fairly decent sized scene start to finish and got it into the game  Was really happy with the end result.  

Spent some time adding content that had been submitted for the game.  Mitsuko is rapidly catching up with Anna and Eve in terms of content and the author has some really great stuff in the works.

Inheritance Progress Report 1/23/19

Been a crazy day.  Got quite a bit of work done on Inheritance, including finishing up a moderately large scene, adding a couple of submissions, and adding an entire new location in town among all of my usual stuff.    At present, we've got about 8k words of new content fully coded into the game, so we've got a really good start on the week.

Inheritance A24c Fix

Ok, had a few other things reported and mostly got them fixed.  Nothing completely game breaking, but a couple of items that were preventing some content from playing properly.  

You should be able to simply drop the attached html file into your current folder to play.

Last Stand of Ra A1TEST

With this build, the game starts to take shape a bit.  There's not a lot to do just yet, mostly it's enough of the navigation and a hand full of early ambient scenes  to start giving a feel for the game.

First, yes, I know I haven't posted a weekly recap in a couple of weeks.  Too much stuff to do that seemed more important at the time.  I'll be making an effort to get a recap out some time in the next day or two.

*Fix for missing Misaki conversation.
*Fix for two of Mitsuko's night time sex endings.
*Bubbles and Maki visiting the mansion before you meet them should be fixed for future builds.  You will need to either meet Bubbles and Maki, or start a new game in order to fix this issue.

Last Stand of Ra Progress Report 1/14/19

Has been an interesting day.  Less productive in some areas than planned, more in others.

We'll start with Last Stand since that's this week's project:
-Managed to write seven small scenes for the game.  Basically it's everything needed to get one location into the game and the first part of a second location.  My goal is to have all five of the initial locations into the game by the end of this week along with a small number of scenes for that location.

Inheritance TEST Build A24T6

Had a single item reported with the new content, an event that was throwing an error in the kitchens.  Has been fixed with this build.

If anyone has noticed anything else, please report it!  I spent maybe five minutes moving around the mansion and the grounds looking for possible problems, but didn't get any errors, but all of you are putting a lot more time into play than I am, so it's entirely possible that you'll see things I didn't have time to extensively test.
