Chapter 46 – Day 112 – Glorious Return

“Purgatory, I have returned.” I reached the East gate very early in the morning. In fact, it wasn’t even morning and closer to the middle of the night. This was the perfect time to go to the pillars. There was less chance of unneeded drama.

Chapter 45 – Day 95 – Striped Meerkats

I looked at my left arm. It was healing well. I tried to compare it to the rate things healed on Earth to see if any stats were impacting my healing rate. I thought so, but it was hard to tell. At least I had near full functionality again and didn’t have to return to Purgatory earlier than planned.

I also cleaned off the bracer and reattached it to my arm after banging it back into shape with my club. It looked like trash with how mangled it was, but it provided useful protection.

The grassland turned into shadowlands. The closer I got to the next biome, the darker the sky became, and the grass quickly died off. There were scraggly bushes and rocks sticking out of the ground. The weather should not be determined by the biome and there shouldn’t be such a quick transition either.
