The public version is delayed for an indefinite period.

So, it's the 20th and that means the first stage is over. We did not reach the required amount and so Alanna will stay in ToML. There are going to be plenty of women in our next game, so it shouldn't be hard to find a new favourite girl.
I think that we could have hit 800$ but for most people the end of ToML was a signal to unsubscribe. Anyway, there's no need to get upset, there's going to be a lot of fun stuff for you in our new game.

What's going to happen to ToML?

Currently that project is finished, that's for sure. Am I pleased with it at the end of the day? No. I will keep working on it in my spare time. But only after initial release of the next game (or maybe once 0.2 is out). What exactly will I try to fix and work on?

Development news.

All renders have been converted to full HD. Naturally, it took some time but it was worth it. I had to use photoshop for post processing, however, it's a win-win since I learned a few new things. I managed to minimize the quality loss of converted renders. Here are two renders as an example, you've already seen them though.

At the moment we have 170 fully completed renders. Half of them will be used as a temporary solution since I'm planning on remaking them later.

In addition to that, there's a number of finished sprites for the fighting system.

We have a functioning build, where we keep working on the game's balance. The fighting system, prologue and some elements of sand-box(trading, moving between locations) are completed.

Today I'll be done with Ann. Her update turned out to be rather big because there were lot of different conditions we had to keep in mind. There are even 4 different versions of the text for one scene. The 1.0 update is going to be real big - 14 000  words, 535 renders and 10 animations + Irene.

When will be 1.0 update released?

That's a question I've been hearing a lot recently. It was 20th of December when we started working on it and it's 14th of February now. However, given that we had Christmas holidays and then I also spent one week indisposed with personal matters, I think I'm not that behind schedule. Naturally, I wish things were better.

Changes in "Goals"

We have two current goals: 

500 - If I reach this goal, I will be able to hire a team, which in turn will allow me to release bigger updates of the game; 

1000 - Once this goal is reached, I will update my PC configuration thereby improving the graphical part of the game.
