I have an idea for an owlbear comic. I think I know roughly what's going to happen in it, but it's probably best to let the idea sit for a little bit and see if I still like it, before I commit. So, I'll just post this 'test' page, which works as a standalone too. In the meantime I'll draw something else that needs drawing.

Still working to improve composition, lighting, and trying to get the viewer 'in there' so to speak. This one does that, I think.
Couple of sore thumbs I can't really fix, a couple I probably haven't noticed yet but will fix as I spot them.
Edit 1: Tweaked the face a bunch, lowered the light so only part of her face is lit, and adjusted the skin colors a little. Still not happy with the hair, I'll probably redo that again in the future. It's too messy, I need to give her a proper ...

The original idea for this image had the wings with a star pattern on them, but given the composition it would have just been clutter.
In my headcanon, dragons aren't greedy per se. But they do sometimes hoard *something*. That can be books, art, or... lego...

Don't know how many I'll actually be able to do as my wrists are acting up and this pic took me quite a while because of that. I think when dark becomes stronger, a lot of us want to be a light in the darkness, to be there for people in need and pain.
As much as I want to be, I myself don't really have that ability. But at least I can draw pictures about it, maybe that helps a little.
On a more technical level, with this picture I tried to focus more on expression than on being tidy or drawing things technically 'correct'. So it's a bit messier than usual, but overall I think it's a decent tradeoff.

The goal here was to try and depict the insane size difference and growth. Mostly, through focussing on the guy's experiences and how weird it would be walking around a megamacro who is still rapidly growing.

So this is the 45th image I think, but is numbered 35 because the numbering is a hot mess. Not 100% happy with the lighting, this lighting/shading method is perhaps not really suited for it. But, it gets the idea across I think.
edit: tweaked the reflections and shadows around the guy a little, I think the perspective works a little better now.

Wanted to try a more belly-centric demoness pic. Maybe I'll do another.
Having some difficulty getting the dark levels right on my main monitor. It looks fine on my tablet, and I'm not sure how I'm going to fix this without letting it become really washed out.
Also I only just now realized the horn placement doesn't match between pics. I'll need to adjust them a little.

Spent two weeks on this picture, I think it's the best dragon pic I've done so far. \o/
As a heads-up, I am 100% guaranteed to find major problems with it in the near future, and I will make a ton of edits. When I've made enough edits to justify it, I'll update this post with a notification.
-Altered a ton of things, I think it's an improvement. Also included a slightly edited version of the kissing pic, the red was a little out of control in some places.

My tablet's pen appears to be dying, and I can't draw anymore until it's fixed. So there may be a hiatus until I get a replacement, or the problem is resolved some other way. I may do some other stuff, like writing the balloon snake store in the mean time.

The idea here was to add lighting effects to this art style.
I think I should practice doing more realistic human faces, fur, and metal objects to this style. It's slowly approaching a state where I could do a comic or sequence in it, but it's not quite there yet.
