I'm back. Sorry for the lack of updates, in general.

I had a lot of things to do this month in regards of my mom's condition.

I had to make sure her treament started as soon as possible, due to the aggressive nature of her tumor (GBM 4). She started treament this past friday the 25th, starting her first session of Chemotherapy and Radiation.

Biopsy Summary

The biopsy came back.

My mother was diagnosed with a Grade 4 glioblastoma (GBM) following surgery on March 27, we got the results yesterday.

• The tumor is IDH-wildtype (no IDH mutation)

• It is also MGMT-unmethylated, meaning it may respond less strongly to standard chemotherapy

• She is currently recovering and preparing to start radiation and chemotherapy to manage recurrence risk

They are discharging my mom from the hospital tomorrow.

We still haven’t gotten the results from Biopsy, but she looks better.

Her leg is worse, but that is to be expected, and she will need physical therapy. But they managed to remove all of the tumor.

Now that things are getting back to normal. I will resume updates this coming Tuesday.
