huh. I wanted to make something with a dark contrast, sort of the other pictures of Nova always showed darkness and machines, so I tried to mix the pinup with that.

Shading can do wonders for simple lineart.
This was something I perfected along the years in the comics, and specially with "THE VOID" as I decided to skip the "dark shade" layer I use in Derideal and still made it look the way I like it.
I decided a simple style in XEN for trying out how well the style performed, as it's a bit more quick to paint compared to Derideal that has lots of extra shade and light layers.

Hello people, I thought it would be fun for you to see these pictures in their more "plain" state.
I used to different styles in this picture:
+The full body picture used a style more related to the Derideal comic pages, in which is a sort of clean lineart with a little diffused cell shading.
+ The half body part has a more "painted" ink style. which involves more custom brushes.

This is how my original "scripts" look. kinda messy huh?
I do small notebooks by stapling paper sheets and folding them, then draw in those things like if it was a "comic book"
the size and quality of the pictures vary from the time I spent on the actual page... sometimes I put more effort, but I'm usually happy with messy pictures and a general panel layout that work.

Hello, this is probably the more "nudity" I've got to draw, or the most NSFW thing I've ever done... but it was interesting, drawing all the anatomy was also a learning process, so I feel I need more practice, I don't plan on doing more than this, but hey, part of the reason this picture is for Ivory is because she was originally put in the comic to allow a bit more of fan-service, things that Laura normally wouldn't do in the story.
what do you think?

Hello again, this is the original Sketch/script and the finished Lineart made by Cron12 (cynide) who is helping me specifically with this part of the Xeno Experiments Nova Project.
The red color frame is the spot where no text should be in the page and the yellow where it can go, but at ristk of getting too close to the edge. it's just something that came with the psd template I use. I found that in a comic printing service and I've been using that size ever since, idk if it's a right format, ...

This is a classic example of a very rough sketch that turned into final lineart at the first try. as I've draw these characters quite a lot and it wasn't a dynamic pose, but a poster with static not full body shots of the characters it was easier for me to jump into the linea...
