My pencil "scripts" are always messy.

I kept the pose, was nice. but had to re order an decide new texts, in any case... nothing on these sketches is definitive.

XEN- The Rescue - 01

Alright, the first time we saw Vex, she was a little younger and was working in The Nodriza ship in command of Nova, in the prelude comic.... in which she looked slightly different, as she was meant to be just a cameo, but I now own the character, and I modified her a little, so make her look a little more unique in my own taste.

anyway, this comic starts in the middle of something, mostly because I've been practicing making short, laser-focused stories comic episodes.

Xenos are pre-loaded with many different knowledges, but they still require some training to execute these things right, so it's never fail-proof...

Astro survival suit ref sheet

Well, this is a more definitive version of the survival suit I got commissioned by Kupel Copel a while ago, and I've drawing in different pictures over the time, this sheet also includes a "soldier" modificed suit.

This suit was designed by Theocorp with the intent of keeping safe their xeno workers back a space mining station, due some malfuctions and mismanagement over the AI it carried, even after the space station got lost... the suit kept the xenos alive inside, now there's no way ...

This page sort of showcase the sudden realization Daniel has about the Nexo, the Consortium, the city... 

I think science fiction dwells a lot on dystopian futures, and it's part of the reason I decided to focus this story more in the characters, in general... I just paint a little bit of the world, a little bit of the Consortium, enough for readers to think about it and make assumptions, it's just the canvas in which I decided to paint the story of the "xenos", who are... very irr...

Here's Daniel sort of realizing how unfair things are in the city, and in this world... but he's been part of this all of his life, there's no "other way" that he knows, but maybe now he starts to understand a little how the rebels feel, even if it's sort of a lost battle.

Squirrel coffee shop collab

Hey! I got so tired while drawing this one! oof!!!! it was seriously insane... I don't think I've draw so many characters in a single picture before.

Hey! just wanted to comment here that this part of the story I had to figure out a quick way to tell it, as I've been saying I was going to make a Laura episode since years now.  I had in mind making a completely separated, side-thing.... but ultimatelly, for the sake of the story and how it evolved as I decided to finish it, Laura's story got better planned out, and it's not integral to Derideal part 3.

Cadacter "Harvester" design

I got this big boy in mind since months, but never got around making a more elaborated design, something that works as I wanted. 

I think they look cute with a long tail haha.

the Harvester Cadacter hasn't been seen so far in any XEN comic, but if all goes right, it will be featured in following stories.
