well, couldn't really be that easy! poor Nova, she did everything right, but... some foes sometimes run with luck, or they're just too big to handle with a single shot I guess.
this is one of my favorite pages from the ones I've made, I'm not super sure about the reading order of the panels and the final dialogs of the big doggo, but it work either way I think.

Hey, I'm still AFK for a few more days, but I thought about writing something here.
I brought this sketchbook with me, but this one got to be much more special as it's almost full of comic story notes.
Some really messy scripts and ideas fill more than half of this book, and just a few sketches, made me think about my decision about getting better at making comics and writing stuff.
Idk if it's a good idea or not, but it's my goal after spending a few years trying out many ot...

This page was conflictive for me, I wasn't convinced about the first sequence.
in the original the dog howls, Nova get scared as she knows something will happen, then the rest of bad guys pack up, then she decides to fire

in the new sequence, the dog howls, Nova just realizes something will happen, but get more decided and proceeds to fight. it's just something small, but I think it manages to show her character a little better.

I managed to draw a Patreon reward, phew! I'm really, really behind schedule with the commissions and life stuff x.x
I kinda enjoyed trying to draw a mafia boss type of design, and this characters colors ended up adapting nice to it, and I like the pointy ears.

Aden did what he could, but damage kept piling up...
he's VERY resistant, mostly because he's indeed able to regenerate wounds pretty fast, but part of what allows him to keep fighting is a pain blockage the spine, which allows him to ignore everything and just carry on until collapse.
he's still VERY resistant, but if the solders kept firing he would eventually die anyway... or just pass out and depending on the damage of his internal organs, die anyway... but it would be very ea...

I'm not sure what I tried to accomplish with this one, I just don't draw many lizards and I'm not sure what to draw... last week I was very busy too haha.
I decided to not put bewbs in this lizard girl, made sense at the time

I spent some time figuring out how to make this battle play out,
there have been questions about how much skilled Nova is in combat against ridiculous odds, so I thought it would be interesting to show an unbalanced combat, Nova plot armor would be thicc enough?

Cybernetic prothestic update + armored version commission.
First half of this commission that was decided to be devided for easier readability.
Mal is a cyborg malamute, and got some interchangable parts or "shells" that suit better for different scenarios, these bionic parts are his "reinforced" shell, which is resistant and suit for combat.
I spent lots of time on this one really, expected it to be more simple, but I got carried away adding small details and trying to imagine...
