Patreon Status Update

Hello! Giving this update to explain my upcoming plans for the Patreon, which is now officially reopen! Yippe!

Burger Bust

Because I did all those ZZZ studies. I figure I'd try drawing my own pic for the game to apply them. I feel like I learned a lot doing it, and am pretty happy with the result. Didn't expect I'd end up drawing anything for this franchise of all things, but you never know where you can end up I guess.

A birthday gift for my friend Gizes of their OC Mokai. Tried out some shading stuff with this that was fun. Took a lot of work, but I feel okay with the result! Def need to do some more indepth fruit studies though...

ZZZ Shading Studies

A bunch of studies I've been doing over the past week to try to improve my rendering ability.

when someone commissioned me to draw some ZZZ characters I ended up looking at the wiki for the game. Turns out, the way they do their promo art is EXTREMELY appealing to me. While I have negative interest in the game (gachas are not for me), I know what kind of art I like and this was it. So I wanted to do a bunch of studies to see how I could apply it to my own work.

Here I go being weird again.

So my friend Buttery comm'd me to turn their gal Kathleen into ice cream... and then I got carried away asking 'what if' about the whole situation multiple times. I already shared two of these but since I did a third I'd figure I'd wrap em all up in one post.

Temporary Patreon Opening and Comms

Hey everyone, as I had planned I am opening up the Patreon for 2 days until I pause it again. The purpose of this is to allow some people to join and enter the discord servers, which requires Tier 2 membership. Did you know I like robots? Here is a bunch of robots... totally normal robots.

I've been doing a lot of sketching and felt compelled to try drawing robots. It was pretty fun! Mostly Fila stuff, since I love the idea of being turned into robots in particular.

Upcoming Patreon Plans

Pausing Payments For a Month

TLDR: Pausing payments for a month again to reevaluate my mental state so I can do my best work.

I really didn't wanna do this again, especially not so soon, but I need to be mature and come clean with my inability to draw lately. For over a week, I've struggled to make anything that I was happy with. Trying to get myself to draw in the first place is a massive chore. Its become a source of immense stress for me and I have to be transparent about that. This isn't how i wanna be working,...

Short Term Plan

Hey everyone, just giving a small text update to talk about my short term plans with the Patreon.

I've been doing a lot of work behind the scenes to try and improve my sketching ability. The intent of this is to be able to provide more frequent commission opportunities for clients, and also just get more ideas out in general. It means less full render work in the short term but I think focusing on this will have bigger long term benefits for me.
