While Valentine’s Day has come and gone, and Spring is almost upon us, we’ve been working hard on Seeds of Chaos as always. This month’s release marks the twelve month anniversary of switching to monthly releases, and in that time, we’ve only been late once with a short delay due to technical difficulties, so I think it has gone pretty well myself.

Poll Results, the Copper Club, and Release Update

Hello everyone,

The backer poll has just closed earlier today, which means we now have our three colour CGs decided for next month. In first place, the gays have it with last month's new Andras x Rowan scene, followed by the Rowan x Helayna bedslave path domination scene, while bringing up the rear, in third, is the Ulcro x Delane scene from the Orciad. As usual they will be going on the commission sheet for the March release.

Like with MDN, I asked Sommy to provide as unfinished version of a CG for half the price and this is what he turned in, using rougher lines, spot blacks, and a bit of flat colouring. Personally I like this a lot, hell, I'd make a game in this style.

Short break from my one liners today to be serious for a moment. This is what the "finished" line art pieces from MDN will look like - tight lines, with greyscale shading. I personally think they work well, they are easy to read and much better than a black screen. Eventually these will be finished with colour, exactly when as always will depend on funding increasing.

As they say, start the year as you mean to go on, so here at Venus Noire we have started the year with another release on time. We have a lot of plans for 2019, which you’ll no doubt be hearing about soon, and hopefully it will be a great one for the game.
