Katie VS doorways

I continually put the handle on the wrong side of the door leading to the bedroom, hence why the inks on the second one are flipped from the pencils, now I'm realizing the little latch hole cover is on the wrong side too. I'm just going to chalk that up to the cabin being old and through a few stages of renovations with weird stuff left behind. Just so Katie can have her pants caught and maybe Brian can save her.

You can tell this one started as a more obvious study of Lawren Harris' Autumn Algoma. I had a much better idea of how I wanted the finished background to be painterly so I didn't bother with lining it this time.

Catch me attempting a Tom Thompson study in the middle of this chapter. I did fully ink the backgrounds - yo can see some in the last WIP - but I went so ham on painting it looks better without. Probably would have been better with a brush that simulates oils but I'll see if I can manage something with a texture overlay.
