I recorded myself working on this one... it's all at actual speed so I split it into one video for each girl, each around 40 minutes long. Lots of texture practice in this one!

I'm attempting to get back into traditional inking and did this up as a quick & dirty test. Digital lines are cleaner and can be more precise, while traditional have literal mess, tend to be wonky, require scanning and all that... but there's still something I like more about traditional lines. Maybe it's better line weight control or the subtle jagginess of the edges and curves, I don't know. I don't think I'll use traditional lines for comics but I might do some other test pieces and offer...

Red lines are my terrible thumbnails. I liked working on the double page spread before so I'm giving it another shot, even though these two aren't super connected. I work on pages in twos anyway.
