So it's time for everyone to go out adventuring except for poor Merfie...
Aria took (was taken?) to the skies, and Nicholas, Paski and Noz are strolling around a strange place.
Nicholas puts on his new outfit, a re-made version of the previous one given by Merfie, and this time he must have had a little more time to prepare it.
What will they find in this place? It looks a bit humid, damp, but they don't seem to mind too much...

Aahhh it's been a while since I continued, but I have to catch up, just life gets in the way very often haaa.
As Nicholas and company venture out on a fun little expedition, Merfie, sad and alone comes to check on Aria and see how she's doing... only to find out that Pebble and Hauch are taking Aria away in an adventure of their own, as well!

Originally in the sketch they were supposed to be clumped together in a narrow space as if they had grown big in size, but I found a difficult to color a background like that hahaa;

And, here's a brief step by step of the recent Toph, including the very early rough thumbnails that I do to mostly plan the picture and figure out the composition, and as you can see it's usually just a very rough approach and many scribbles and shapes but it helps a lot!
Now then since this drawing is mostly done with flat colors, there's not really many special types of layers and all, it's mostly normal layers and just slapped a quick overlay in the end to make colors warmer.
