Birthday art - Partner

I tried to do it the way artists who draw girl characters on Pixiv do, using layer mode while dividing the layers into smaller ones. I've been doing my recent artwork the way I paint with the layer mode set to normal, but I still find the latter easier to do.

I think that Procreate, the software I use, is better suited for the latter type of painting. Photoshop and Clipstudio have more features and are easier to use for the former type of painting.

Fine Arts Exhibitions - 絵金

Today, I went to the exhibition of the Japanese painter, Ekin(絵金).
He was a painter in Kochi/高知県 (Tosa/土佐) and was active from the end of the Edo period(幕末) to the Meiji period(明治).

Once again, I was experimenting and exploring different procedures for the artwork. For this artwork, I added color to a rough sketch that I had prepared to some extent, then added and adjusted where necessary. The last step took a lot of time, but it was less stressful and fun.
