Hi folks! I'm here to give you a wrap-up development blog on June!

I've recently updated the Patreon/Kofi demo with more of chapter 3 rewrites, including the first opportunity for Mordred and the Dragon Friend to become sweethearts!

I finished writing the tournament fair date with the Dragon Friend - did some other small chapter 3 edits - and moved on to picking up where I left off chapter 5! That is to say, if Mordred turned down the tarot read, Nimue offers one to the Dragon Friend 👀 I'm in the process of writing that scene - I'm currently on the second card. I'm just really excited to return to this chapter, all write some more Nimue.

Last week I didn't get to do much work; my partner and I went to see Nine Inch Nails live in Koln, and took the occasion to visit the city, which is absolutely lovely!

What I did manage to do, too, is take some notes for an upcoming chapter 5.

As mentioned last blog, I did draft the tournament fair date with the Dragon Friend, and coding it into the game now should be fairly quick! And now that I'm back, the Knight tier story will be shortly posted.

Demo patch

Just uploaded a demo patch with all the reported bugs fixed!

Also - this was actually reported before the latest update, but I couldn't find anything amiss, and I'm not sure if it's an issue anymore, but I wanted to ask:

In the scene talking to the Dragon Friend after meeting Arthur for the first time, did you encounter any bugs? Specifically referring to an "if" or "elseif" not being where it should? If yes, please let me know which Dragon Friend Archetype you were playing with,...

What's new?

-The Dragon Friend's first POV (after learning about the prophecy)!

-The scenes with Galahad by the river (whether you approach or avoid him) have been rewritten to include the now fleshed-out Dragon Friend, and some more reactions from Callum.

-The following scene with the Dragon Friend has also been rewritten and expanded upon. You now have the first opportunity to become sweethearts with them.

You let out a sigh and along with it, all the built-up tension between your shoulder blades. Your chest swells up then falls down, your whole body slumping along, leaning down against $dragon_name's flank. You let your head loll on its side, cheek rested against their neck, cushioned by sun-warmed scales.

You slide along their side until you're plopped across, knees and neck over their front legs, head head tilted back, tall blades of grass brushing against your neck, your cheek.

I'm in the process of writing the first opportunity to lock-in (soft lock, can be broken later) the Dragon Friend's romance, thus becoming childhood sweethearts! It's a very cute scene leading up to it, if I can say so myself (with both platonic and romantic versions of it) and I can't wait to share it with you!

I'm still on the chapter 3 rewrites (predominantly dragon friend related content) but I'm nearing the end of the chapter, and once I do, I plan on moving on to continuing chapter 5 before jumping back into rewrites for chapter 4.

I'm in the process of editing the second short story to post! I've done some work on the demo too, still on the Dragon Friend scene - I haven't worked as much as I would have liked to because of some bad shoulder pain. Instead, I've done some planning and recordings for some chapter 5 stuff, specifically related to certain romances.

I've finished the Dragon Friend POV previously mentioned, and moved on to re-writing the dragon-related content in Galahad's scenes by the river. So, this week I finally got to post the demo update! Just now I also uploaded a patch, fixing a couple typos and bugs.

Actually, I'd like to address one of the bugs, to make sure things are working properly now. When telling the Dragon Friend about your meeting with Arthur in Elewen's tent, someone submitted an issue with the choices: the first couldn't be clicked (should be fixed now) and the others two lead to dead ends. -Tournament day after meeting with Arthur - the duel between Accolon and Lancelot - now edited/extended to include the Dragon Friend, and a new choice.

-Gawain's lute hang-out scene has also been changed and extended in some parts.

Now that the second short story is finished and posted too, I've turned my whole focus on the demo.

Hi folks! Let me catch you up with what I've been up to!

While officially I was on break last month (on Patreon and Kofi), I still did some writing for the demo (no new update for now though, it's coming at the end of April). I'm still working on the chapter 3 rewrites - most of which focus on Dragon Friend content, but there are also other various scenes getting edited/added, such as a new Galahad POV.

This last week, I've been fixing the bugs sent in; I'm still working on rewriting that Gawain scene previously mentioned (sneaking out to play the lute) but I've also began drafting this month's short story. It'll be another Igraine POV!
