Hey all! I appreciate your patience with me on this piece. A lot of this month has been experimentation & learning new techniques, so my process has been slower.

I still have a couple ideas I want to add before I finish this one up, but I will be moving on to the next piece soon. Hopefully, you like how this one has progressed!

Sorry for the delay in new content! Going from pixel to digital was a lot harder than I thought it would be (both on a physical & mental level). However, I'm trying my best to persevere!

This is actually my 7th attempt to draw this cutie, and the only attempt I haven't hated outright. I hope that you like it so far. More to come later!

Thanks for your patience all! 60+ hour work weeks have made these last few weeks a bit difficult, but I'm still chugging away at Miia when I can, and learning new things. Expect future pieces to take waaaaay less time.

I finally had some time to resume Miia for a bit, and focused on finishing the outline & getting the flats done. Doing everything digital again is taking a lot of learning, but I think it'll pay off.

My style, for now, is relatively simple. I'm use to bold lines & cel-shading due to my time creating pixel art, but I am looking to really develop the style into something more.

Starting a snek girl, and already super excited to try some things with her. I originally was going to do this as pixel... buuut she's turning out so damn cute already!

Plus, I want to test out my "man milk" skills, and she seems like a perfect test subject for some messy fun. Snakes can be rather slimy, right? It's nature.  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

So recently, I've been playing around with the idea of creating more digital art pieces via CLIP STUDIO. This is the first fully digital piece I've worked on in probably 15 years, and was kind of a small test for myself to see if I would enjoy working on something that wasn't pixels. 

Surprisingly, I actually did quite a bit, though, it's obvious that I'm more comfortable with my pixel artin' skills. That being said, I think I could really improve & make great quality stuff.
