I've not been doing it on the previous sketch pages, but in the final comic I'll be using this 'black borders' technique to denote flashbacks. Should help a little, with how often Aer's been skipping back and forth between past and present.

Hey hey, Aer's almost done with her flashback! Took her long enough!
I might still tweak the composition a little, maybe move Aer's narration boxes and squish them to be horizontal rather than vertical, that way I could bring the 'fully webbed' W&A closer to the center, letting us see more of the 'half-webbed' versions behind them. It was supposed to be a kind of sequence but I dunno if it quite works right now. But that's what these sketch pages are for - to still have the freedom ...

I noticed that in both Issue 1 and Issue 3, Aer uses stripping as an escape technique (in #1, when Wossy briefly leaves the room and returns to find Aer unbound and in her undies, Aer is holding her sweater still covered in tape, with the implication that she simply wriggled out of it. In #3, she squirms free of Ana's grip by letting her cardigan slip off her shoulders when Ana grabs a sleeve.)

Gonna tweak the previous page when we get to inks, to make the thrown web-net split down the middle so that it makes more sense to hit Aer and the wall like this here. It's still kinda weird lookin' - this has been the most difficult page yet - but there's also still room for fixes, so the inked version of this page could still end up pretty different... we'll see.
