Fun fact, Raya100/Blogman and I share the same birthday! For a good few years, some even wondered if we were the same person since we drew each others' characters so much, and also sharing a birthday just seemed way too suspicious. :p
I've been so swept up in things that I've not really drawn his characters much lately, if at all, but they still hold a special place in my heart as I'm sure they do for many of you too. <3

You're probably sick of all these teasers and "it's almost done" messages by now, but I figure it's probably still better than radio silence, right?
I finished tonight's session with the shading'n'shinies completed up to page 22 (page 19 shown here 'cuz it's pretty), so this time tomorrow should see all 24 pages nicely polished up.
I've also done a couple of the backgrounds already and confirmed that it's pretty easy to trace and tweak over the SketchUp screenshots, so that'll b...
It's time for another free month - you won't be charged on September 1st! All billing for current Patrons (specifically, Patrons who have paid for the month of August) will resume on October 1st.

Pages are progressing nicely. Here's a lil' handful of panels that I'm quite proud of.
Shorty/Ana's mask is still a provisional at the moment (went through a few ideas including a 'doll' style like in http://fav.me/d89uhs5 , but the 'theatre/drama mask' style is pretty creepy, right? (that being the intention) It doesn't really matter much... it's only visible for 2 pages, after all, but, eh! :p )

Fun lil warmup before today's comicwork session. I'd had this idea in my head for a few days and really wanted to get it out!
Pretty happy with how this turned out considering it only took about 1.5hrs. As such it's a little rough and unpolished, but it reminded me that there's definitely a sweet spot of approx 5 hours that I should really try harder to stick around for my non-warmup pinup pieces. Typically I've found that once I go past that, into the 10-20hr region, it's a case of diminishin...

Awwwriiiiiight!! I really, really really wanted to get these inks done by the end of the month, and juuuust made it!
Sui is powering through the flats as seen in previous postings, with his efforts easily saving me at least a full month of work.
With that in mind, all that's really left is the backgrounds - which as you saw in the sketches, I will actually just be tracing the majority of them from SketchUp screenshots of the 3D environment I built for the store, so I'm not too worried about...
