I've said it before, and I'll say it again: MessyHairAer is BestAer.
In the final copy I might try putting S&L's mmphing in the background so that it's not like they just disappeared on this page. Then again, this page is all about W&A's reunion, so S&L really should be out of sight and out of mind anyway. Until the next page, at least. :p

Thanks to Shio&Shortkeys for helping out with this page! Getting the top to flow nicely was a bit of a nightmare, but hopefully it reads well, especially the neato "wall as a panel border" effect going on in the middle there.
Ultimately, as long as the mummypile looked good, this page did its job. ;)

I couldn't find many nice skirts for Aeria in Second Life, and while she does have a few decent pairs of shorts, her go-to casual wear has ended up being a pair of jeans. As such, the idea of Aer in jeans has slowly grown on me. Of course, she still wears her tights underneath. (Because OF COURSE she does. <3)

Aer is used to this kind of thing by now. Still, that doesn't make it any less of a hassle to lose half a day to some overly-friendly magic goop!
I was super tired and creatively spent tonight but figured drawing is better than not-drawing, so quickly blasted this out so that I can at least say I didn't waste the evening.
The lines were fast and loose as I wanted to make sure I could get it all done without burning out, so the proportions get progressively wonkier... and also just realized ...

There'll be a couple of trophies and medals with the bat there in the final page. Home-run queen! Someone commented during the making of this page that "surely it should be a cricket bat?" since W&A are based in the UK, but my response to that is that Wossy spent the first half or so of her life in 'Murica! Maybe she even tries to get Aer to watch the Handegg Superb Owl sometimes?
Anyway, back to the comic... this page is perhaps a tad intense, but don't worry...
