The unused glowy-eyes Aer is perhaps a better drawing, but it's actually so extreme that it kinda makes the book seem less important, like it's gotta share the spotlight of "crazy effects panel" with Aeria. So, for now, we're just going with a classic Grump Face.

Working on Jul#1's 2nd place picture of "sundress Asuka" was pretty fun, since it wasn't actually the first time I'd drawn her - this was!
This picture was in my DA gallery for many years, until one day it got taken down by the mods. Ah well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
You may get away with excusing Wossy's rude, snatchy behavior on page 2 as "well, Wossy is just a high energy kinda gal", but that won't fly on THIS page. What's got her so worked up about that book!?

No "Magical Girl Aeria"... not today, at least.
The box of items is, of course, the "misc stock" box that Aeria was complaining about in Issue 2. With that in mind, I figure this story is taking place very shortly after that one. Maybe just a week or two later. All I know for sure is that it's supposed to be a Sunday, so nobody is around (and you'll notice they'd flipped the entrance sign to "Closed" on page 1) - this will either be worked into the dialogue somehow, or at worst just stuffed in...

Wossy's (story) will obviously be filled in, along with the item in her hands. Like how the tv show chatter was one of the last things to be done in issue 2, sometimes it's just nice to open with a bit of fluff before easing into the heavy stuff (coming up!).

The (un)lucky girls on the podium are:
1st place: Aeria (specifically in her modded-Skyrim incarnation)
2nd place: Elsa from Frozen
3rd place: Wiz from Konosuba
As previously mentioned (but news to the $3 patrons), these three will receive a particular kind of treatment.

Still figuring out the best quality settings, so this is a bit bigger than it needs to be (82mb, but I figure a 4 minute 720p video should be more like half that size, right?)

Sometimes I get some "aw, I missed the stream!" comments, especially since my streaming schedule is so erratic. Luckily for those people, I've always had the "save a local recording" option ticked in OBS, and just bought a copy of PowerDirector15. You guys like timelapse videos? ;)
