1. Make the elves a little less annoying

Note Sept 26th: Changed up the dialogue. Around 800 words added, no major major new info or plot but I guess I suggest rereading this one. Tried giving the elder a distinct voice (let me know how I did) and tried to make it more focused about a single topic at a time. Emotional responses and stuff should be better explained as well.
