Here’s some pics of my insides! Specifically my sacrum. I got an epidural yesterday. They shoot some local anesthetic into my back, then once I’m numb they inject contrast dye and with the use of X-ray, guide tubes into the holes of my sacrum (L5, S1). Once they hit the correct nerve roots in my spinal canal, they inject a cocktail of lidocaine and cortisone down the canal and bathe my nerves in anti inflammatory soup.
