Colorado Update! (Blaze it)
I always think I’m gonna have way more time once I reach my destination from the road and that is almost never the case! Especially when it comes to returning home. I’m trying to keep my priori-titties straight but the past few days have been a whirlwind. I’ll be here for another week and then onward back home! That’ll Do, Baby P
I have finally skedaddled out of the Swamp once again! This time to take my last trip in Baby P. The Van Nest is still very much a work in progress, plus COVID doesn’t want her getting plates.
Spending the next three weeks on the road driving through the Midwest! My body is super fucked up so I’ll be hitting up daily Planet Fitness’ along the way.

Cathartic Movement
Lately I’ve only been shooting on really bad days. There have been a lot of bad days lately. A lot of my pains are changing and traveling. An unwelcome transitionary period that‘s dominating my own transition to the van.
Creating alone (and maayyybe sooometimesss with others) has been a great source of healing and relief from my own body that is unmatched by any drug. I’m really glad I can come home to self portraiture during rough days, and am only eager to soon add in some days ...

Last December, I opted out of nerve ablation surgery the day I was supposed to get it done. They were gonna feed electrodes through the gaps in my vertebrae and burn off 6 nerve root endings in my low back spanning 3 vertebral spaces, effectively removing my ability to feel sensation in those roots and through the nerves down to my feet. This was actually a test shoot. I was pet sitting a zoo of three poodles, 6 cats, 6 bearded dragons, 4 skinks, and a tegu. It was equal parts wonderful and exhausting. The beardies’ favorite feed were these gorgeous tomato horn worms so I borrowed a few as accessories. I was testing the concept before possibly buying some from a pet store to use at home or whatever and then releasing them to fuck up someone’s garden.
