i haven’t had practice with anatomy and muscles for a long time and will have to start learning from studies to express my nsfwish ideas better! >3< its very exciting to take on another area foreign to you in art after you’ve been comfortable for so long, but having a new challenge is always healthy!

played around with many ideas for omi’s design concept, from the red spider lily, to origami, to the sasakia charonda butterfly! i really like the last one because:

• it is the national butterfly of Japan (or in this case, inazuma?)

• it’s purple to match his electro element

• in my culture, butterflies also symbolise death, which goes well with his weapon’s alt form, the scythe.

I wanna draw him with yae's ult animation.....and can imagine him using a catalyst because it's sanitary and doesn't need to be touched/cleaned and his being long-range makes sense. but polearm - sexy.
