I need to rejuvenate myself, so I'm going to create a few of those during the next couple of weeks. non-story (though you could make one on your own), following my intuitive process and what feels "right". here, I kinda missed Darkheart and had a vision of a teenage boy shrunken, hiding on her enormous, sexy sandal, thinking that she can't see him...

Yes!!! Heat - chapter VII is complete! :)
I said by the end of the decade...and succeeded. I'm really happy about this chapter, and I must admit that my outline was NOT going to that direction...but my characters are alive and they sometimes make choices that surprise even me...and I'm glad it came out this way, because now I'm even more excited for the future of this story.

I'm trying not to reveal spoilers, as this chapter got some pretty dramatic (and at least for me, unexpected!) developments.
Sometimes, as a creator, you think that you know where it's going, and your characters catch you by surprise. that's why even the works I do outline, I'm trying to stay humble enough to realize that what I thought was going to happen wasn't exactly what happened, and I try not to become a slave to the outline.

A screenshot from my RECOVERED hdd!!!!! it took more then a month, it cost me almost 1000$, but...My content is back and among many other things - the almost completed TG3! I'm so happy! and I hope I've learned my lesson for life.

it's been a month since my HDD failure, and although the restoration company keep saying that they got it under control, I still didn't received it back. I agreed to their (obscene) fee, but every time I ask what's going on, the owner comes up with an excuse and I'm still waiting.
I am a patient person, usually, but last week they promised me I'll get it back by next week, so I've decided to give them an ultimatum, and if they won't deliver I'll drive there (it...

So, the holidays are over next week, and the restoration company told me that they almost finished recovering my failed HDD. I won't believe until I'll see my stuff with my very own eyes, but I'm staying positive.
Some good news: because of what unfortunately happened and the delay in finishing TG3, all tier 10$ patrons and above that joined my patreon circle before 25th of October will also receive my NEXT NEW SFX Epic for FREE, as another bonus! it's going to be sold for around the 2...

some good news! I got a phone call from the restoration company, with a verdict that my HDD can be recovered. it's quite costly (almost 1000$ in Israeli shekels :\ ) BUT it's worth the while for me + it's a very important lesson for many more years of creativity to-come.
So, hopefully I might receive the restored copy back next week (it's another holiday here, Sukot, so it might be delayed slightly).

It took me 3 whole days, but my entire poser content library has been restored. this is not from the failed HDD. this one is still at the company and I'm still waiting to hear from them (it's rosh hashana here in Israel, so the holiday will probably delay that). The 75% completed TG3 is on that HDD and I really hope I won't have to start doing it from scratch. hopefully good news are on the way!

Update regarding my failed HDD + bonus for the weekened!
So, the data restore company took my hdd yesterday. from what I've learned, the chances of rescuing my data are high: it's a new hdd, it never fell, and it's STILL WORKING, running, and not making any noises. I hope I'll get good news within the next days, even though it's going to be painful, cost-wise. this is an important lesson I need to engrave into my bones, for many more years of creativity, so I accept humbly and with love.

Dear patrons,
yesterday my main HDD failed. it's new, on a new pc, but shit happens. I wasn't expecting that.
Usually I'm backing up my work at the end of every day. I didn't made backups since my return from the states (I guess habit-wise it slipped off and I wasn't expecting anything to happen, because it never had, so far, up until now :-( ).
the bad news: all of my poser folder was there, and the latest (almost finished!) project, The game III. I feel terrible.
