How did y'all like the podcast we posted here a couple days ago? It was a ton of fun to finally sit back down and be able to talk about wrestling as more of a whole and not so much held down to reviews and post shows!
I would love to hear any and all feedback you guys have! I know a lot of you are probably here for the news, and I love you so much for that, but how do you guys feel about some more laid back, loose, entraining stuff? We have the idea to start streaming games on Twitch, more podcasts that are based around topics (within wrestling) that we are passionate about, and more!
So please always feel free to give us feedback on new stuff we try, we want to make PWU a place much more than just news! Im so glad youre all here and lets have some fun!

Last night was not the first NXT on a Tuesday night, but it was the first one of NXT airing on Tuesday every week going forward. As far as some of the stuff that took place last night we have a few news and notes.
Regarding Roderick Strong seemingly quitting NXT and fans thinking that he is coming to the main roster, that is not the case. We were told that this is a full NXT storyline that will play out over time on NXT. Strong keeps saying that he is "done", but we are all only assuming that means he is done with the NXT brand.
Regarding Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair appearing on the show last night with Raquel Gonzalez, many backstages did not know this was something they were going to do. Most backstage felt this was a great moment and everyone loved that they did this.
We were also told that along with Franky Monet(the former Taya Valkyrie) there was another wrestler backstage last night who has worked for IMPACT Wrestling in 2021 who's contract is reportedly up soon or could be up already.
Regarding the next NXT Takeover, the working plan is for the show to take place on either Saturday, May 15th or Sunday, May 16th but nothing is currently locked in.

As of April 4th, Peacock became the exclusive place for WWE Network content in the United States but not everything has migrated over yet. It was stated that the plan is for everything to hopefully be added by SummerSlam in August but with no explanation why.
We at PWUnlimited have been told that the reason for everything not just being uploaded right away to Peacock has to do with commercial breaks. As you know there are multiple versions of Peacock. There is free, with ads for $4.99, and ad-free for $9.99. The reason ads are making it longer to add content to Peacock is because they have to go through every piece of content and set the time codes for when the commercial breaks are supposed to take place on the service if you do not pay for no ads. This information was not attached to the content previously since the original WWE Network did not have to worry about ad breaks.
If you have noticed, all new content is being created is created with commercials in mind. With RAW Talk and Talking Smack, we now see the host send the show to break between guests, when before the show would flow smoothly between guests before the move to Peacock. Even with the newest Broken Skull Sessions, you can see where the ad breaks are supposed to be even if you pay for no ads with the fade out and fade in to break.
It is also known that Peacock is going through content editing and even deleting some that they feel is too sensitive or mature for their service.

2021-04-12 23:38:38 +0000 UTC View PostLast night there was a slight weather delay during WrestleMania night 1 after it had been raining when the show started. It had been reported by multiple people that no one had their time cut.
We were told by one source that two if not three non-wrestling segments were cut from last night's show to save time. We don't know the extent of any of these segments other than one had to do with Bayley.
2021-04-11 17:38:58 +0000 UTC View PostWWE paired Alexa Bliss up with Bray Wyatt last year coming out of the Braun Strowman storyline and have tried to evolve both characters making Bliss more and more like The Fiend every week.
According to one source with direct knowledge of the situation, they stated that the people in the storyline, specifically Bliss, actually do not really know what they will be doing each week coming out of and going into a show because it was stated that the storyline/angle is actually booked week by week.
Regarding a recent rumor that Bliss could be getting her own mask soon, no one really knows if that is even something in the plans since everything is booked week by week. With that even Bliss has not heard if that is true or not.
2021-04-09 20:26:25 +0000 UTC View PostWe have been told that next week on Smackdown Rey & Dominik Mysterio will be winning the Smackdown Tag Team Championships in the fatal-four-way on Smackdown this week. The plan coming out of that would then be for the two to defend the titles at WrestleMania against the former champions in Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.
Next week's Smackdown has already been taped and if what we are hearing from the tapings did in fact happen then we will have new tag team champions next week. Yet the WrestleMania match could still be nixed as that actually can not be announced till after Smackdown on Friday.
We have heard that the plan would be for the match to be announced during night one of WrestleMania and then take place on night two.
2021-04-04 18:09:42 +0000 UTC View PostSince the Royal Rumble it has been rumored that Bad Bunny would team with Damian Priest against The Miz and John Morrison. This past week on Monday Night RAW is was officially announced that Bad Bunny would face The Miz in a singles match.
We have been told that the reason for this is because as of right now John Morrison is not cleared to compete. Back on February 22nd, Morrison took on Riddle and during the match went for a dive and injured his knee. Later that same night we saw Morrison limping and he has been limited in what he has done ever since.
It was stated to us that this match could still be made a tag team match if Morrison get s cleared in time, but to be safe they announced it as a singles match so they don't have to figure out a way to go from a tag match to singles.

We were not told what the plans for him on the main roster would be or if there is any interest whatsoever in even using him tonight on Monday Night RAW.
Karrion Kross was in line to be the top guy in NXT last fall when Keith Lee was called up but the night he won the championship he was injured and plans shifted to Finn Balor and the Undisputed Era becoming the top acts in the brand for the time being.

2021-02-28 20:59:12 +0000 UTC View PostThis weekend we saw the Women's Royal Rumble with Bianca Belair winning the match last eliminating Rhea Ripley. We have been told that during the practice held on Saturday, WWE had multiple women there that did not in the end partake in the match on Sunday.
As far as who was there and not used, the only now we have heard so far was Kacy Catanzaro. We were also told there may have been one women at the practice who is not currently signed to the company and thought she was going to debut debuted in the Rumble match on Sunday.
We were also told that TJ Wilson was on hand running the practice as he was the lead producer of the Women's Royal Rumble match.

Over the last few weeks they then started saying that they are nervous because she is coming. We have been told "she" is set to be portrayed by KarenQ.
Karen Q who has been out of action for over a year after suffering a broken leg at a NXT live event.
We have not been told when we will see Karen Kwan but it is something that we expect to be revealed soon on NXT.

Tonight’s IMPACT Wrestling will feature Kenny Omega & Don Callis being interviewed by Josh Matthews. The segment will be in the final 10-15 minutes of the show and Omega is a full-blown heel. There is also a segment on the show with Tony Khan and Tony Schiavone doing an old 1980’s style commercial for Dynamite tomorrow. Tony Khan speaks for most of the segment and teases a number of things.
Regarding the AEW/IMPACT relationship, with the way the Kenny Omega and Don Callis interview goes, this will not be a one-time thing with Omega only being on the show tonight like it was reported last week.
