Been very busy these past few weeks, i'm moving tomorrow and might not have internet for a few days BUT WHEN IT COMES BACK.

Weekly Update #9 - i55 Continued

Hello, its Sunday again and I'm sorry about the lack of vids/streams recently. 

I've been working on i55 ideas and you lucky bunches of people will be the first to know what I have planned.

My plan is to give away shirts to people that donate in my upcoming i55 fundraiser. The shirt supplies will be limited, exact number of shirts is still being worked out cause these things are expensive. Right now I'm going to say no international shipping for cost and quality reasons. When Shade did shipping for the Froyotech shirts 90% of them got lost in transit. 

I'm still working out kinks and all that so I haven't made an official announcement yet but I'm working on it right now.

Weekly Update #8 - i55

Hello, a day late for the weekly update but i've been pretty busy recently. Sorry about that. This week I will be talking about i55 which many of you probably already know about.

i55 is the International TF2 LAN event of the year. 2 US teams go to Europe to compete against the Euro teams. This is the 4th year American teams are going over and hopefully I will be able to make it again.

This Patron was created to help me save up for events like these but unfortunately it's not successful enough yet to cover an international plane ticket and i55 is happening at a busy time in my life. I am moving next month and Security Deposits, Moving fees and application fees...are expensive...like i never knew how much it costs just to move into a new place jesus christ its a ton of fees 

So long story short, I'm going to have to make a donation drive and I really didn't want to. I don't want to make another video about it and put it on youtube so instead I am going to include a link at the end of my newer videos explaining the situation and all that. I don't like that I have to resort to a donation drive again and its pretty frustrating but its the only option I really have at this point. 

I'm planning on offering shirts as a thank you to donators but im still working through the costs of printing some out. If you guys have any inputs or suggestions on the situation feel free to comment here. Like I said, I don't want to just make a video about it like last year, it feels too crass.

Weekly Update #1 - ESEA S18

Hey guys, this is the first of hopefully many weekly updates to my Patreon thingy. I'm actually pretty happy with this new format I'm doing since now i'll have something ready for you guys every week. To start things off I will be providing you guys with all of the photos and videos I took from the ESEA S18 LAN. This includes photos and videos that i didn't upload! On the work side of things I'm having a pretty butts case of art block. I have many potential projects to work on but I just can't get a solid idea of what I want out of any of them. I want to make a new video but I think it would be best to wait this out until I can come out of this funk and make a good video instead of a poopy one. I'm going to be focusing on Streaming while I try to get back in the hang of things. So you guys aren't kept in the dark about this I'm gunna list the several projects that i've been working on. -Oblivion Highlights video The hard part about the Oblivion video is the massive amount of content i need to sort through and figure out whats worth watching and what isn't. Today I decided to try and split the Oblivion Videos into sepreate lives. So one video for the life of Butts McKraven I, a second video for Butts McKraven II. I'll start work on seeing if this format ends up working and keep you guys in the loop about it -Stream Highlights Video I have a stream highlights video clip sorted, but I need more clips for it to be worth uploading. I need to stream different games to do this but the only game i've been feeling like playing recently is Oblivion so the Oblivion videos will likely come out first. -No more Room in Hell I played No More Room in Hell offstream a few weeks ago and plan on making a video out of it. Clip sorting is finished and I need to find a music track and general idea for the pace of the video. I haven't been able to think of much recently though, guess I need more time to come up with something -GTA I went through my GTA videos and unfortunately I didn't find much worth Highlighting. 99% of my time in that game was playing the single player with nothing out of the ordinary happening. I expected this to happen and was counting on GTA Online to be more exciting to make a video out of but unfortunately I can't connect to any games. I keep getting connection timeout errors, i'm going to try and set up a different router and see if that fixes my issues. If it doesn't...i'll be sad and pretty upset -TF2 I have several ideas for a new TF2 video. I've thought of making 6v6 guides, weapon parodies and more "people getting mad" videos but like I said. I haven't been able to form a solid idea on what I want these videos to look like at the moment. Creativity reserves are empty That's all I have for right now! Sorry about the lack of videos, my brain just hasn't been able to come up with anything recently :( Thanks for the support as always. Back from ESEA LAN and !Important Update!

Hey guys, I have returned from working at the ESEA S18 LAN Things went pretty well and i'm planning on making a debriefing video soon I have a very important thing to ask you guys so please respond with what you think here when you read this. I'm planning on switching the Patreon from a monthly campaign to a weekly campaign and also making the only amounts of support available as 1$ and 5$. I need a ton of saving up to make the rest of the events going on this year and I think this could be the most successful way of doing it. I need feedback through Do you think giving $1 a week too much for people to be able to sustain? I am taking a more aggressive route on this now after the success of the photography at this LAN and also the massive hit I took to my own wallet for the work I did there. I'd like to do more, but i'm getting 0 money from ESEA or TFTV for these things.

Update - 4/7/2014

Hello friends, I've been working a few days trying to piece together content to create a video with but I've come to the decision to wait it out. Right now i don't have enough clips to create a new highlight video, which is due to the fact that i've been streaming so much Oblivion lately. I've decided I will be making an Oblivion video BEFORE my next highlight video, however I still need more clips. SO MORE OBLIVION STREAMS OTW GOTTEM BOYS Also some of you may be sad to hear that I have also recently decided to scrap a highlight video. This highlight video had clips that are months old and just didn't fit well together or were very entertaining to me. The clips from this scrapped Highlights video will be available for you guys to see in the upcoming days, but will not be made public. Thanks for the support guys, oh and starting today Twitch Subscribers will also be getting access to these updates and private videos.

Intro Update

I decided to go back to the intro and redo the entire thing, I'm liking the way it looks. Expect to see it hopefully by the end of the day.

Clip sorting for the newest Highlight video is done, next step is to review what I have and decide for some music that fits the mood of what I'm working with. I'm going to try the Bomber Man Hero's OST but I doubt it would work. I also have enough footage collected of another game to start work on but i'm not sure which to do first. I'll see how edits go tomorrow. Thanks for the support guys

Finally making an intro

Intro animations are tricky, you only have 10 seconds to sell your video to someone before they lose interest. And no one wants to see the same long intro over and over (johntron) Going to take a page from Star here since I told to him about it awhile ago. The logo will be transparent and animated and will only last for about 2-3 seconds tops. The video will be playing underneath the logo so it wont be intrusive, too long, or annoying. I just gotta make it all in after effects now zzzz
