To get a better resolution for this old game go to your newconfig.txt which is usually in MOHAA/main/newconfig.txt and add the following lines
seta r_customheight "1080"
seta r_customwidth "1920"
Once you get into the game, go to game options and make sure you enable the console. The access the console using the tilde key (it's below ESC)...
