So my first day off has come and gone. I have a few things to share.
First.
The format of the videos had to be modified. It wasn't efficient to use .AVI at 120FPS, so I switched to .WEBM at 30FPS. This reduced the size of the novel by about 1GB.
Second.
In the end, I converted the images from PNG to WEBP, which dramatically reduced the size. I can't say for certain but the VN should be around 1GB in size.
I'm no designer, but at least it's different (?). I'm still learning all the tools and assets, so it may take a while to give these buildings more juicy details. Remember, I'm never satisfied with what I do.
After this one, I'll work on the rooms for each girl. I'm even thinking about doing a sandbox kind of gameplay while I'm at it, but only if I can limit the repetitive clicking.

You might think I'm about to tell you that I'm halfway through the progress bar, but nope. In order to get more assets, I spent 14 hours updating the studio. After that, I read all of the comments on F95, and one of them was extremely accurate. As soon as the update was complete, I tried to create my own scenarios. Just to let you know, I'm never satisfied with anything I do in my life. Therefore, if I keep thinking about changing it, I will never be able to release anything. I finished before heading to work. It needs a little polish, but the major content is already there. Maybe I'll read through everything again tonight, make a list of what needs polishing, and invest some time into it. Mostly because I have a limited amount of time this week. I will probably split the progress between morning and night. At night, I will polish, check dialogues, typos, etc., and in the mornings, I will advance as much as possible. I now have a series of deadlines to meet once I upload this newly-created VN. Once I manage my income, I'll subscribe to a compressor to reduce the file size. Currently, it stands at 1.4G, which sometimes gives the wrong impression that there's a lot of content, which isn't always the case. It might take effect in the next update.
