Tings I’m working on

Hello all! I haven’t been all too responsive lately because I’ve been working on these sculpts. I‘ve been kind of burnt out from painting whole figures and doing sketches so I’ve shifted my focus to sculpting and packing orders. I will probably start up sketches again soon now though since we are in the middle of the month. As well as complete these sculpts so when my stamina is more recovered in February I’ll go on another painting spree (:

3D printing

I’ll be working more with my printer this year once I finish up the last few clay commissions. The first model shown in green was not made by me! The file was sent to me by a Catchapon Gang member who asked if I could print it for them (: it’s a miniature so it didn’t take much to print. I did learn how to make keys in models so they could fit together as pieces with this print, but they came out so small that they’re almost useless hahaha Next time when I print something larger, like...

I shared this little one on snapchat (@srabbitwork) at the time they were being printed and kept forgetting to share them here!

I modeled them in Forger, sliced them in Chitubox, and printed them on my Anycubic Photon (: it's Cucu, one of my Shrimp bunnies!

Larger!

These big dogs are what I’ve been working on recently! Basically my non-chibi clay commissions. They require a bit more of attention as they have more detailed areas and longer limbs n such. I’m super excited to see them painted ;w;

I’ve used my light box for these since the new place doesn’t have that direct sunlight lighting like my old house did. I’m also currently working on another video and the lighting there isn’t too great. Gonna probably look into getting some sort of studio light soon with the Patreon funds ;w; ❤️

Messy Update on the Clay Queue

The last time I shared pictures were from my old place. I’ve since moved out and have been up and running again with lots of sculpting and even painting a few figures! A lot of the bigger pieces have had progress made however during the move they’ve acquired a few bumps and dents that need to be smoothed out. Nothing too crazy though thankfully! Many thoughts, head full

Been wanting to post here for a while but kept finding something new to work on and telling myself "I'll post once I finish this one thing" and the cycle continued. Up until now, where I've had a headache lasting all day, forcing me to stop, so maybe it's a blessing in disguise haha
I'm posting from my phone today so I can lay down and type. The photos were taken from my phone instead of me iPad as well.

Clay WIPs: In Progress and Ready to Paint

I’ve just been working away at this queue! It’s like a baby boom but with figures lol. I’m no longer working on them by category (toys, cheebs, etc); they’ve more so been divided into “still working on (older commissions taking a little more priority)” and “ready to paint”. One thing I’m excited for is almost all of the bigger/detalied figures have gotten their body now! I’ll be showing off each figure more as they become completed and painted.

I didn’t get to post an update last weekend because all the sculpts were all over the place and mid being worked on so I couldn’t find a great stopping point. I haven’t been posting much because I’ve been on a sculpting binge primarily. I’m happy to say that all the toy figures head’s have been completed and are all ready for their bodies then details. I also just realized there are three toy orders missing from these photos but that’s because they’ve completed the sculpting phase and are in another area for painting ^^;

New Figure!

This was a figure asked to be made in the same style as a nendoroid. Humans are pretty hard to make but adding the chibi element seems to make it harder! 😅 

New Icons

Look at all the new friends!! I’m thinking about making an option available that if you’ve been a Prize Catcher for three months you can request an icon? What do y’all think? It won’t be featured at the end of videos but it’s still something! Also maybe perhaps an option to renew an old icon into an updated look. Perhaps after the icon is six months old or something? 🤔 💭

Another Wave of Figures

My goal is to have EVERYONE’S head sculpted in this wave because it’s a really good jumping off point once I finish one sculpt going to the next. I’ve also got six videos planned and lined up for some of these so that’ll be fun!
