And we've got our first non-main character. Of course that's no reason to give him any less love, so Konrad gets just as much of a thorough treatment as the rest. Hell if not a little moreso because I just really like him and ended up getting perhaps a bit carried away.
I usually try to not lean too much into the pirate-y style, simply because it is decidedly not a pirate ship, but for Samuel and Konrad it just fits their characters I guess to have a bit of a rough-around-the-edges out...

Something quick because why not. Wasn't really happy with Julian's outfit ever since I made it truth be told. It just felt....off. But at the time I just didn't have the time nor did I really want to immediately sit down and fiddle with it right after finishing it.
So now I had some distance to it to get a new eye onto it, and so here we go! The reworked outfit, making him a little snazzier!

Right! We haven't had one of these in a little while simply because I had to obviously illustrate Nomax for version 4 since the update revolved entirely around him, and then for update 5 we only had Arthur left of the main cast.
But now, with the main cast out of the way, we'll get to some side characters because of course they need to get some love as well and need to get their proper in-game artwork!

With the new tiers of course comes a new little feature!
The pet wall got a new, and more fitting name and, of course, will be in version 5 of the game.
I do want to keep all the important things available in the 2-10$ tiers, and this just felt like a fun little thing that I could do as an extra thank you to those among you who decide to go the extra mile to help make this game.

Finally this one is done...Only took, I think, 4 times starting from scratch.

Another month another new character portrait! Rounding out the last of the major characters at last we got Arthur "I've got about 30 seconds before losing consciousness when aroused" Hudson.

It's weird for me to have characters with human-esque hair, never really am the biggest fan of the aesthetic but with a horse it makes sense I suppose. They do have their mane and so maybe it'd be a thing. If nothing else it brings in some variation as well.

New Month new update as they always say!
Compared to update 3 this one is much more substantial, too. Not quite as much as I had hoped because some of the art for it just did not want to get finished and ate up too much of my time...but what can you do. I'm not a machine yet, so sometimes stuff just doesn't work as anticipated.

I didn't quite manage to finish the Nomax painting I was teasing for this newest update because it's been giving me nothing but headaches... So I had to get a bit of time away and try and finish the picture for this scene instead.
I had to start completely from scratch as well for it, but I made it! That's what counts, right? Don't think it's quite as good as it could be but currently it's just a bit of a rough art month. They happen, so hopefully some smoother paintings will follow.

So, with the paintings varnished I was finally able to take the final photos.
They're still not quite spot on, the original are a bit "smoother" as phone cameras just have a tendency to really punch out every minor little detail it can find, like the canvas texture for example. Not to mention of course just the difference of one being a physical item that absorbs and reflects light, and does so differently as you move it about, rather than the screen you are viewing it from which emits...

Figured it'd be a good time to schedule this video for the time I've got a visitor over here. So here we go, got some varnishing done these days and recorded it!

So far it honestly wasn't TOOOOOO much of an issue. The videos tended to be short and just about small enough that just uploading the file itself worked fine, but for convenience's sake it's probably best to get them onto youtube. Probably should have done that earlier...
