Info on the second content pack this month

Hey hey,

wanted to let you all know that there won't be the second content pack this month. Eurofurence is coming up, so i'll be out of the house after today and the past 2 weeks I've just really struggled making progress with the current pictures. So all we would have for that pack is the portrait that was finished a little while ago, which wouldn't exactly be a whole lot.

So i think it's best to just sit this one out this time around and we'll keep going regularly next month. ...

Sketch - Chained

Bit of a frustrating period art wise the past two weeks or so, and especially today. Maybe because of the constant heat recently but it's just hard to sit down and concentrate properly on painting currently.
So Nomax gets punished for it and chained up for the taking in a "let's-feel-kinda-productive-but-actually-procrastinate" drawing.
Certainly going to be sitting down now for a little while and bring a couple things to finish.

Vote Sketch - Reading

The suggestion was reading with a cup of coffee...but the cup of coffee just wouldn't want to cooperate and fit into the picture in a good way, so no coffee for me. Which, honestly is more accurate because i very seldomly drink it.

My birthday present just involved drawing something for myself. What a lovely present! Also just more of an opportunity to experiment with AI tools and everything. So here, have the usual Nomax standing somewhere staring into the  distance. So deep.

We had a tie this time around with two options being even. So i decided to go with the dragon based on an animal i like.
It went...ehhh? Yeah not super happy with it, tried to do it with a secretary bird as a base though also didn't want to just have it be the bird in dragon shape basically. So i did intend to stray a little further from it all.
But yeah. I'm not specialized in character design, i'm not specialized in creature design on top of that and i haven't really drawn many drago...

Early Bird - Nightlife

Tricky little painting this. I quite enjoy reflection work, with water, specular floors and whatnot, but usually that doesn't include having the reflections as a part we look through at the subject.
So this was quite a fun challenge to figure out how to coordinate all of it.

Also honestly, the tiled wall is my own personal highlight. Look how nice and subtle i managed to get the fiddling texture in there. :D
