February Chocolate Rqeusts: All Of 'Em!

I am determined to get all of February's work done IN February. So I am off my socials and buckling down this week to get everything out before March. Starting off strong today with three coloured requests! It's funny... there's a theme this time around.

Strip: Coffee

Trying something new to get some more character work done. Simple comic strips. This was spur of the moment, I have no idea how hard I am going to dive into these. I'll probably do some NSFW jokes too.

I have so much character stuff I want to do I thought I could use this as a good excuse to try doing strips, and also practice drawing a little faster and simpler. I'll probably ink and maybe shade, but I think I'll largely keep them black and white, just to speed up the process a little.

I wanted to change up Misery's design a little. I like the claws and feet, I'm not quite happy with the hoody though. This is okay for now.

I also like to think that using his tentacle tongues like this is uncomfortable. He won't use it for long either, since it also blocks his air ways.

Soriel Adopt

I've been wanting to do paired adopts for a super long time! I decided to just go for it today and created some unicorns. :p

Fleece Design

Working design for Fleece. Some things are bound to change, as they always do, but right now I'm pretty happy with this.

Somewhere down the line Fleece became female AND a squirrel. I can't really explain that one. But I guess dreams are born from thoughts anyway, so anything can happen.

Cedar's teeth were very impressive back in the day, before the incisors broke off.  

December Chocolate Request: Axe Falls For A Plush

This was one of the prompts from November's exclusives, but it didn't win the poll. Dotchi couldn't pass up the scenario though, so I hope I was able to summarize the encounter with this one piece. They do end up bringing Bell home, but she was quiet expensive (she's premium). So Axe and Deme end up doing some odd jobs for other monsters to make back their grocery money.

ALSO Patreon I HATE your spell check. I'm Canadian! Half the things America spells with an 's' we spell with a 'z'. The words is correct damn, it! Stop giving me that infernal red line. >:( (I've also found plenty of words that are just straight up not in your dictionary.)

A few bits of lore for Game Of Souls:

The Frisk of this AU was born too early, and never arrived present day to free the monsters from the underground. 2000 years ago Birch and Cedar served her as personal guards, but they became (mostly) loyal friends, even being buried next to her crypt when she died.

The skull on Cedar's shoulder is the skull of a bear the brothers fought and killed as children.

Birch and Cedar, Brothers

Usually, they get along pretty well. Cedar (Papyrus) is the older brother this time around. Birch admires him a lot. Occasionally, they have a difference of opinion, which more often than not leads to a harsh argument.

Luckily (unluckily?), Birch usually forgets by the next day.

Wanted to do more, but I think this might be all I have in me today. 

Game of Souls Trio

Cedar, Birch, and Lady Houndstooth. The far far north is filled with old crypts, ruins, burial grounds and whatnot, lost and revealed through the moving snows. And those ancient maps? Hard to navigate when the ancient language only had one word for both east and west.

They are supposed to have a houndstooth pattern on their scarves, but I am pretty sure I'll get really frustrated with it soon so instead of drawing half of this month's pieces with it and THEN deciding I've had enough, just figured I'd nip that little 'ism in the bud. We will pretend the spirit of the houndstooth pattern is there. It'll be a secret between you and I.

The Lady can speak the ancient languages, but old maps can be difficult to decipher when there was only one word BOTH east and west.

Crooks

My lovely sweet boy, he really came into his own this month. I still want to do all of the fluff stories with him. Edge helps him pick out clothes, his best friend Susan likes to hang out with him and help him clean the inside of Axe's skull. So many things. XD

I have one more HT drawing I'd like to finish, maybe if I am lucky it will go up today and we can move on to Game Of Souls. (There is another drawing, but I have it planned as a print and will take longer to colour.)
