the progress around here hasn't been too visually interesting (or something i can share just yet!) i've continued work on the winter dittos for the shop update happening december 2nd. here's a bunch of unstuffed ditto puddings that got their leaves installed today! i really like how these fellas look all together, so festive!
i've also begun work on the december plush, finished the december sticker rewards, and picked work back up ...

and here we go! after dropping off a bunch of november rewards at the post office, i started production on winter dittos for the upcoming shop update! i started with gingerbread ditto who has gotten some upgrades from last year! he's one of my favorite designs i've ever done so i had to bring him back!
i'm not exactly sure when i'll be doing the drop yet - i would love to do it before thanksgiving, but that doesn't give me a whole lot of time! and i hate to do it the weekend of thanksgi...

I got the majority of sewing done on both cozy bears today! I have some hand sewing to do in front of the TV tonight.
The luxe cuddle minky one is so short and stout compared to the mochi one! It's great to see comparisons side by side of how different the same pattern looks in different fabrics. They each have their unique charm!

2 new polar bears were started in my house today! One will be another mochi bear and the other will be made from luxe cuddle minky, made as examples for november's pattern reward. The embroidery was done for both and i got the majority of the mochi one sewn. Changes include a 3d nose, some minor changes to the muzzle, mouth, and blush shape. I hope to finish them up soon! Then I'll be working on the november ditto plushies!

Today i took apart yesterday's bear prototype to start a polar bear! I moved the "on the fly" adjustments sewn into the prototype to paper, and then digitized the face and paw pads. I hope i can make the paw pads puffy, but they're awfully small!
I might change my mind and go with a light grey muzzle 🤔 i thought about it at the time but decided not to, and now I'm rethinking it again! 🤣

Here's the first sneak peak at what will be November's pattern reward - a bear friend! I've been wanting to make a chibi bear for some time, and with winter coming up, it was a perfect excuse 🐻 I'll be making at least one polar bear with this pattern but it'll be easily customizable to other species as well!
While his legs will remain stubby, they need to be lengthened and widened quite a bit!

Happy Monday! I started my day dropping off all the fall shop update orders at the post office. It was another lucky day with no line 💪😤
I also did some pin design work today! I'm ordering for both valentines day and spring, since the holidays and new year result in a lot of days off for manufacturers. Hope you guys had a good weekend! We packed up the over 100 orders from my fall shop update - thank you all again so much! Iji and Amelia enjoyed my "bag of bags" where i store all my reusable grocery bags in particular today 🤣
I'll be dropping them off at the post office tomorrow morning and then working on another hedgehog for the instructions for the October pattern reward!

Every time i do a drop i get very nervous, but somehow you all manage to blow me away every time! It means a lot that even after all this time my silly little plushies are so well received!
I got the majority of plush's hand sewing finished today. Since i have to wait for orders to come in to finish scenting and sewing, i cant pack orders right away and need to do a lot of work still on drop weekends! I'll be finishing those last ones up tomorrow morning before beginning fulfillment!

Inventory has been done and handsewing continues! I've made all the listings for the shop update, and I'll be taking photos tomorrow for all the individual items, unique designs, and seconds grade plushies.
While i can't hand sew all the plushies shut until orders come in and i know how many need to be scented, i like to hand sew about 1/3 shut without scent, another 1/3 with scent, and leave the final 1/3 open to finish after orders roll through!

I have another half that needs to be cut out and flipped, but here are the babies that were "born" tonight - missing an eye! The eyes are hand sewn on before they are closed shut.
