I'm currently working on the next chapter of the comic I hope it will be good. It will focus on two differnet characters of the story so I'm excited to see how it will go.

I made myself a new brush in PS for drawing grass. It made it rather quickly but I think I would like to try out makeing my own brushes more often.

I'm really like how the faces on this page turned out. Sometimes it's hard to get the feel of the sketch across into the finished image. But I like how the expressions turned out.

Really wanted a early morning vibe on this page. I think I got close, pastel colors are sometimes hard for me because I just love loud colorful bright colors it's hard to get my brain to quiet down a bit and make it more light and easy.

I really like how the rain in the first panel came out and also the overall feel.

I could have just started painting right away but my brain works well with "lineart" so where I knew there would be sharp edges I drew lines and here I also drew in the texture of the tree bark. I used more or less pressure to make the lines lighter or darker.

My new favourite page. I really love the different wolpertingers, I will have to make a info sheet on how I interpret the species since it's different to real life wher people just liked to mess around with taxidermy.
My theory is they maybe used parts of damaged animals (like if you shoot a bird the wrong way and only the wings would be usefull for taxidermy.) and after some time you would have lot's of parts from smaller animals and could sew them together. But I'm not a hunter and no...

I added the new sketch I made for this page since I changed the snake to a marten. I like the change.
I also wanted to try out a different color palette for the grass here, more cold then warm and I like how it turned out here. I think it makes some pages more strikeing.

Really like how the different lights turned out on this page. My biggest struggle are always the lines with comics. I either make them to thin or to unclean looking. But I like them on this page.
The next page has a snake in it (as you can see in the sketch) But I'm thinking of changeing it into another animal since we already had a big snake shot. Maybe a marten since the size would fit into it.

Really like Clover's (the bunny) expressions on this page. Sometimes it's hard to go from sketch to finished image without losing the expression I wanted. But here I think it worked out fine.
