Today I got official word that AT, CH, SE, NO, DK, PO has resumed mail, packages and postcards! Ireland, Belarus, Romania and Ukraine are still on hold.
I'll send out the April cards to these countries today! May & June will go out early next week from Tokyo's Central Post Office. Thanks for waiting.

Story time: I went to Ryogoku today to send the postcards. I did — sort of. (1) I sent the cards to everyone living in Japan at Ryogoku Station (2) From the Sumida Yokozuna Post Office near the Sumo Arena, I could send the cards to Germany, UK, Canada, Finland, Switzerland, S’pore and all other places taking international mail except — the USA. It’s interesting to see from today’s stream the change in the shop over the years. Seems like there was some renovation or new building that was built behind it. The Japanese learned the process of running POS from the US then took those techniques and improved on it, to the Japanese way 😂 7-Eleven wasn’t the first konbini in Japan. Do you know what was the first - in 1969?

With Japan Post releasing a new set of stamps for Sumo, I thought I'd make this the choice for this month. I will not just add a sumo stamp but also send this FROM RYOGOKU! It's a 10 min bicycle ride for me to get there :)
The postcard is in the Cockpit window, taped for security reasons. We don't want to pilots crashing into the Sumo ring! THANK YOU for the support and there will go out on June 6th.
