What Kind of Content Are You Most Interested In?

Hey guys, engagement when I post things like Cutter and Ironwood is fairly low, and I understand it's because I'm kind of an absentee artist over here, not exactly driving community interaction. I'd like to get a handle on what most interests you in terms of bonus content!

When Cutter Met Ironwood page 12

At last! New Cutter and Ironwood. This was hard to fit in with no Rose, and aping her coloring was impossible, but I'ma try to get back at this. I look forward to a new chapter, so I can overhaul the look somewhat to suit new workflows and capabilities.

Penciling the comic in Procreate

Comic streams

I'm going to start streaming comic work sporadically; it makes me a little nervous so I'm probably just dipping a toe for now. Please give me a follow on Twitch if this is your thing so you know if/when I go live!

I've had another Cutter and Ironwood page inked and ready to color for a good long while now, waiting on Rose's availability. Now, unfortunately, she's had to bow out of coloring it for me due to other demands on her time so I have to attempt to A) find the bandwidth to do it myself and B) struggle vainly to match her style.

I'm going to start sharing pages with Patrons in a bit higher resolution. Should have done this ages ago.

Thank you, all!

Health Update, March Edition

I don't even know where to begin, my dudes, as I'm just so tired.

After about 6 sessions of physical therapy my therapist, back in January, decided she didn't think I was responding well enough and possibly thoracic outlet syndrome wasn't an adequate diagnosis and I went back to the sports medicine clinic, who sent me back to the neurologist. I had a cervical MRI last week. I haven't personally seen the report; the nurse who called me said it didn't show any neurogenic problems but did ...

Apologies for another update lapse! If you follow me on Twitter you know I quite literally broke my ass falling on ice and in my particular case the only way I can get anything done is sitting on my ass!

Apple page 9

This is the last page of the Apple short. Before all the health noise struck, I anticipated having this up and being well into Book 11  ages ago. As it stands, I may or may not be launching into #11 next week. I'm still thumbnailing it, and there's a lot of conceptual  material not nailed down yet. We'll see.

Quick thank you, again: your support through this crappy, fallow time for the comic has paid  a lot of med bills and generally helped with my overall outlook. ...

All apologies for the slow updates, but honestly I'm just happy to be back from no updates, which is where we were for a bit there.

Neck still killing me but I've only been to PT three times; I'm remaining hopeful it'll help longterm.

Hope 2019 is treating you all well so far & thanks!

Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, probably?

If you follow me on Twitter you may have seen me mention this last week, but I saw an orthopedic specialist who thinks with some degree of certainty I have bad thoracic outlet syndrome. I have a set of extra, cervical ribs that greatly increases your risk of this as they can easily impinge on the thoracic outlet and cause neurogenic and/or (and, in my case) vascular compression, causing a bunch of arm and neck problems. I start physical therapy the 18th. Hopefully this is the problem, and PT can...

Quick health update

I saw the rheumatologist. He thought lupus was fairly unlikely, and sent me back to my PCP leaning fibromyalgia or thoracic outlet syndrome, which is somewhat hard to diagnose in some cases, and ordered a few more tests. I guess it's good I don't likely have lupus? but I'm pretty discouraged at the continued lack of a diagnosis. Still feeling garbage.

I've really extra appreciated the support the past couple months; I've got sooooo many med bills right now and your help makes all the dif...

When Cutter Met Ironwood page 11, general update

So hey. No page this week. Between the holiday and my ongoing health stuff, I didn't make time. But hey have, at last, the next page of Cutter and Ironwood!  (Please remember the Tumblr password is "Woodcut" if you'd like to refresh your memory on it a little more conveniently).

About that health stuff:

I saw a neurologist and underwent a kind of painful? EMG of most of my body, which showed nothing. ...

Hey Patrons.

A heads up: I'm struggling with terrible back pain and some kind of neuropathy/parasthesia in my left shoulder, arm and hand. If this sounds vague and not like an official diagnosis, that's because it is. I've been to the doctor, and and in fact to the ER, and even, out of desperation, to a chiropractor, over a period of months and not been taken terribly seriously. Meanwhile, it's all continued to get worse. My left hand just feels permanently asleep, while my back just hurts, te...
