god i saw a sale on shutterfly for playing cards, and thought designing the backs would be SOOOO sexy. so i did it :-} im very proud with how it came out even if i feel like i was lost with the design for a second/struggled with the hands AND even if they came back with a weird crop i think this was a successful little product.. so cool to have my ocs on a thing i can hold

kemonomimi zine piece walkthru

now that noahs ark is done with its selling round i thought itd be fun to showcase my fav piece from it and how i worked with it :-D !  

originally a picture i sketched out and decided to color traditionally with poscas, i was like you know what.. i can add this to the zine FOR SURE, but it was still so blurry (bad camera) and a little bit wonkier than i thought was good. its traditional so that makes sense for me im not the most BEST at making polished stuff traditional...

ocd tendency

recently been working on my anxiety with ocd tendencies, and apart of handling ocd thoughts is in part separating them from yourself, and exposing yourself to those thoughts. and thus : ocd monster

now this one was super fun to work with... just animating the sketch wip was fun. 

i hardly opt for using the same frame and just lasso-tooling things to look animated instead of simply redrawing it but i felt like the keeping everything "smooth" lineart wise wouldve looked best for the prompt which was essentially 'floating, overwhelmed with power, and theres soul-fire surrounding'

I..... BELIEVE these are all in the right order.. but different wips of me on my journey of completing the rendering on this collab piece im doing with my friend! both of our ocs manny and jerry hanging out, we worked on the sketch together, made different linearts of it and each are coloring in the opposite persons linework!

mine is definitely long overdue but i just need to render the dilapidation on the walls and throw some overlays on it and itll be complete! very rewarding seeing...

worked more on timing and adding effects, i love wiggle text so that had to be added. thinking abt making the 'paisley' pattern move within jerrys torso and maybe animate the bg layer on the disturb part, want to add a little eye animation there too. not sure ...

HAHA the way i layout comic sketches is kinda so funny to me, this one wasnt SOOOO bad. alot of the time i will draw things in randomized order and seemingly nonsequential before having to piece it together in a way ppl can actually read :-j..

for this i did my paintbucket fill method of coloring in which i did a haphazard lineart over the sketch (used 100% black this time around but i think using a tinted dark but lightish color for the "lines" makes the paintbucket pieces m...
