Did I say a month till more Locked Tomb AU art? Turns out it's 2 weeks! I finished the third book and here we are, lol.
Once again, for the characters where I wasn't sure who should fill their role, I didn't draw them. And for some of these roles I just kind of said "oh well!" and threw in whoever would somewhat fit. I'll probably just post straight up fanart sometime soon.

I'm finally cracking down on the designs for a group of new characters that'll be appearing in Arc 3. I think this one is pretty finalized as of now–I like her weird duck hair :)
(Her personality, on the other hand? Well...I don't think you'd ever want to meet her in real life.)

More drawings for The Locked Tomb AU? Yup! As expected, after reading the second book, I swapped out some characters. Also, I didn't know who to have as the Lyctors, so I didn't draw them, lol. I'm currently on the third book, so you might be seeing some doodles again in about a month!

I went on a family vacation a couple weeks ago, and we had some LONG plane rides. On one of them, I doodled a bit! It was half a redesign and half a prospective character update for TDL's return with Arc 3. (Speaking of which, it's gonna take a while longer for me to get back to it. Probably more like August, since I'm still wrapping up the last bit of work for my graphic novel. But I'm chomping at the bit to get back to webcomic stuff!)

In this Chainsaw Man AU, Ambre is THE titular chainsaw man, and Sam is Asa from Part 2. The other Defectors (Sarah Chu and Dan Penwood) are set in the place of Power and Aki, I think, but their personalities don't line up at all. Also, that means Miriam Bosser is Makima, and that's perhaps the most ill-fitting match up of all, haha. So I only drew stuff from Part 2, even though I don't have set character...

I read the first book of the Locked Tomb series and immediately had to make an AU, so here we are, folks! I haven't read the others so I might swap some characters around if I doodle this again.
Also, some of these guys haven't appeared in TDL yet, but they'll pop up soon enough (and I didn't feel like editing the pic to block out the spoilery characters, lol).
Will Ambre and Amily interact in TDL canon? That's for me to know and you to find out! (AKA, yes.)

Fun fact, I drew that first image in 2019! The Ambre-Samantha team up has been a long time coming.
Chapter 15 was always pretty straightforward in my head, so I didn't actually sketch very much for it. The thing I had to work out was character motivations! I struggled to get a read on Bosser (a la image 4), but I'm pleased with the characterization I finally landed on in the real chapter.
