After making three separate versions of the same comic, it came time to actually ink one of them! I choose the second version.
I might color this sometime in the future, so if I do, I'll post it here!

This is the last version of this comic! After I drew this, it came time to ink my favorite version. That'll be posted soon as well!
For this version, we were told to change at least one major aspect of the comic. I choose the setting, and put the characters on the beach! Naturally, I created more thumbnails this called for more thumbnails.

We started on a new, edited version of the comic after the notans and tight roughs. That meant new thumbnails!
I combined these 8 thumbnails into one final 4 page set, and then turned those into pencils, the step before inking. Good news, these ones include text, so you can read along!

More process work! Here are some notans! (They're like thumbnails, but more detailed! And they only deal in black and white, or shadows and light.)
I used these to create tight roughs: a close-to-finished version of the comic. I usually don't go through half as many steps to make my comics, but they were required for this specific class!

I haven't posted these anywhere because they aren't finished, but I've been working hard on a class project lately! It's a 4 page comic about a little kid who's sure her dog is magic, and the woman who's trying to keep her out of trouble.
