TDL Chapter 16 PDF (+revamps)
Here's the PDF for Chapter 16!
You may suspect that the file is bigger than usual. Or maybe, the image quality is better. Both of these things are true! I usually compress the Chapter PDFs for the sake of storage, but to be honest, I got sick of how it made the pages look.
So in addition to the Ch. 16 PDF, here are revamped PDFs of all previous 15 chapters! Chapter 1, especially, is nice and shiny compared to how it looked previously.
(Sorry for how monstrously big 10 and 11 are! I zipped them so they fit Patreon's file size limits.)

A note! This chapter–and the rest of the current arc–will contain some background character death (very background). Also depictions of violence and like, double the cursing, as evidenced above. TDL Chapter 16 Concepts/Sketches
The first image is from 2018. Wow! Yes, I've intended Amily and Ambre to meet at a fancy gala ever since. Sam cannot handle an ex-assassin herself.
(There is actually a lot I want to say about the "sambre" romance, but it's all spoilery! Argh!)
Perhaps I'll talk about Partridge instead. She hasn't changed that much from my first idea of her, in personality or in looks. She was always going to be a wealthy newbie to the Talent world, ready to shake things up. TDL and NYSM, while both pretty well-known names in this universe, have not intentionally and actively challenged the government for a while (for reasons that are also spoilery). There needed to be an outside force causing a massive change. Partridge is that force. She's brave, a bit of an idealist, and she has the means to go wild. Her disposition, in my mind, is like an older, more confident Samantha. Both of them are going to shake up the status quo.

I was searching old sketchbooks for TDL Arc 3 concept art and found some non-spoilery doodles! I think that last one is the first art I made for Chapters 13-14. I don't even know if I intended those chapters to exist at that point, but the fact that Sam's got all her arms implied I did, haha.
