It's brutal hot outside.
Which makes it perfect for posting this old "Winter Special" I drew in 2016. This was probably the most ambitious project at the time -- I hadn't really dug into Clip Studio Paint seriously up until this point, and the power and flexibility it offered was **thrilling** for page work.
But too much second-guessing and nitpicking delayed and delayed and delayed it, so it lives... like a lot of things, in purgatory.
A story with everyday 'magic'-as-science is a wild concept on it's own, so here are two comics that tried to grapple with it. Three years separates these roughs, but where the first story has a lot of attitude (and no finish), the second story might be a bit more vague, but everything cinches up nicely.
Expanding on these -- a slice-of-life at the DM's house arrest (!?) -- was the goal, and is worth tackling again.

These, I drew at a gaming convention back in 2014. Lots of fun expressions here; it's really one of the best setups for a 4 koma I'd done. Like an idiot though, I over-thought it, and backed off.
But Tess the Centurion and Skull-Queen Tara can make a comeback!
