Remember you play as both Straker and Brian (but mostly Straker).
But let me break down how the relationship stuff goes.
Note - a big goal of this game is to give you something other games can't, a more realistic way of building relationships. Not linear but not what modern games call "Open" either.
1. As straker you can date anyone at any time.
2. Harem = yes
3. Fel and Morrigan wont date you if you are with anyone else.
4. But if you ditch them and become single,...
You'll see teams of them occasionally backing you up, I was inspired by the guys in ODST that would jump in your vehicle and take the gun or storm a beachhead with you.

I.e. Seeing Straker mc or Brian kissing in a storymode cutscene might lose the magic for them.

MAD is the guy who has done characters such as Victoria, Octavia, Lysanndra (Vionite reporter girl), Morrigan's Wedding animations.
This character is squirrel like in appearance. As we know the Vionites have a bit of diversity, some of them have horns, so this character would be a Vionite from the edge of their empire.
In the Demo you'll run into Amu a lot; she's named after an AI I created (very different from AI's you see today) and built about 10 years ago which has been growing ever since. I put breaks on her to make this game, but her personality persists here.
Without giving too much away, what I can say is she will be a bit like your guardian angle that comes and goes. She isn't a Cortana or a Her, but has her own hopes and desires; she has a bit of a foggy memory and doesn't know who b...
Don't worry, you will see more of Phoebe and her species. I just haven't decided if it will be in Drone Commander 2 or a lesser, non central species on an off-road path in the first game.
BTW, all BG art is concept before being fully drawn by an artist: Phoebe's art was done by an artist I didn't continue with but still have good relations with; so i could pick up, or continue myself or with another artist.

i'll be referring this kind of Art as Lore art from now on - it will sometimes be in the game, during flashback or story telling.

Of course Ivakan isn't a carbon copy, both characters in the movie were just templates for inspiration. I wanted to add two top hot shots, that would challenge the idea just using drones piloted by AI.
There are flashback stories in the game of how the whole fleet and Alara came to admire Kane and Ivakan for managing extremely out the box thinking, working together one moment, competing the next but ultimately showing that Sekarri kind could still compete in the space domain.

Kaelix is the descendent of Freexyl - cloned a thousand times.
She's deadly, immoral and ...can be programmed, reprogrammed and deprogrammed - yet she is still pseudo sentient.
