U-Matic tapes update

Hey guys, so I’ve been offered a lot more of these U-Matic tapes of early to mid-80s shows of WWF stuff, George Cannon Superstars, and even some surprises such as JCP. Here are some of the pics I’ve been sent.

But to get them I am gonna need extra help. My quote at the moment is $4000 (Canadian) for 72 tapes (which Google says is just short of $2900 (US) or £2200 (UK)).

Would any of you guys be interested in or able to help in chipping in to get these?

U-Matic Video Test Upload

A few people have requested to try this so here goes. This is the first U-Matic tape I was able to get several months back, but you can now watch the video of it here through the Patreon app instead of on Google Drive. I have trimmed out all the dead space where commercials would be inserted too.

If you guys like this I will do this with next weeks U-Matic tapes I am uploading too (as well as put the full unedited videos in Google Drive).

October F&C slight changes

I am away in Greece and where I am the internet is ridiculously slow. I had planned to finish getting ready some of the videos while I was here as usually the internet service is pretty good whenever I’m away. I guess I was unlucky this time.

Anyway what’s going to happen instead is 10 videos will be added October 1st and the remaining 5 I had planned will be on October 4th when I return home.

Apologies for anyone having trouble accessing the new videos today. It should clear itself out by tomorrow hopefully. Google is stupid and doesn’t like too many people downloading or viewing at the same time it seems.

I may try a different approach next month with smaller batches or even upload some videos directly here in the Patreon app.

September Fish & Chips Preview!

Hey everyone. I’ve been pretty busy as you guys know with making a start converting some of the new tapes out I just got from Germany. Some of those conversions will come in this next lot, but I will up the amount of those by October’s batch.

Part 1 of German tapes arrived!

I just got about 50KG of the tapes I was expecting from Germany. About 150 of them so far.

I still have probably another 300 tapes or so still to come.

German VHS tapes update

I am currently away but have an update on the big haul of tapes from Germany I am getting. The first box will be sent to me this week. There should be almost a complete run of Philly Spectrum shows from 1982 until they ended in 1989.

I am hopeful for a lot of these to be nice upgraded copies as a bunch from this timeframe are available in only average or poor quality.

Also should have the complete shows from March 7, 1986 and September 20, 1986 which have never been available in c...

VHS tapes in Germany to be saved!

I have potentially saved these 500 or more tapes from going in the rubbish and they will be preserved (or anything needed from them).

Once I see the full list of them I’ll have a better idea of everything included.

Getting them to the UK will likely be a process but I’m working on it. 🥵
