I do love pumpkins an awful lot. You'd think it'd be a little harder to become attached to people who cannot use their faces to emote and instead have ghastly gourd holes..but here we are.
Especially enjoyed drawing the ratling and the Bogey in this episode. Lookign up those old Beistle halloween decorations and getting some real good ideas. There are surprisingly few examples of vintage halloween decorations depicting rats which I find sort of strange. Plenty of bats, plenty of...
This year, the pumpkins of Waddlesquash begin construction on the heart of their home: the Waddlesquash Tavern.
Thanks again for all your help, guys
Guess I was a shmuck last week and forgot to post the last gallery, huh? Sorry about that.
But yes. Pumpkins. Been a big fan of these guys so far. Everything about them for the most part. I mostly like the simple people doing simple things dynamic they have going on. Easy to keep track of who's who and whats what.
Guess i'm sort of leaning into a victorian era thing with them een though thats not very obvious by just looking at the mod. I'm having fun with it.
The pumpkins continue on through their first year at Waddlesquash and meet their neighbors..both friendly and troublesome.
Thanks for all you do, m'bastards
Far across the hills, past brooks and twisting, golden woodlands, lies a land known as The Kingdom of Autumn. The people there are peceful folk, just like you and I, who live lives filled with love, labor and friends. Today, we embark on a journey alongside some of these people as they carve out their own place in the Kingdom of Autumn. A place called Waddlesquash.
Man, I hope you like this one, m'bastids. I had a lot of fun with it.
Well, guess it didn't end up going much farther than #10, eh?
Quick addendum to this episode here- the dwarves on the surface didn't all die. After recording the episode, I decided i'd play the fort just to see the real end of things and was able to scurry the dwarves around in a huge circle around the beast (as it picked off stragglers), ran them down into the fort all the way back down to the bottom and got them holed up in a tiny chamber where they ambushed and killed Tofi. T...
Death, carnage. ruin has descended upon Crimsontrumpets
The dwarves, clustered together felt hope draining from their bones as they saw death's approach
It was in this moment that they knew that their home, for as mighty as it seemed, was a mere plaything of the wider world.
But hope or no, they would fight, until the last dwarf, for their home
Crimsontrumpets

Thanks for everything, you bearded bastards.
Episode 10 already, eh? S'nuts. Tried out a different work schedule this past week and it seemed to allow me to try some different things with the art. I sorta spead out the pics over the course of the week instead of trying to cram it all in at the end like usual.
Ended up going super all-out on that one necromancer picture, spent way longer on it than usual for some reason. Sometimes I do wonder what I could do if I really pushed myself on a single picture. Thats not somethin...
Mirth and tension grip the hearts of Crimsontrumpets. As their power grows, their numbers shrink, and without word from the homeland or news from traders, things are starting to look bleak.
Thank you, thank you. You bastards are too great to me.
Eyy I tell ya, it's a shame I didn't get to draw that forgotten beats a bit more. I really liked the wya it came out, with it's beak, green mouth and stumpy tail. Ah well.
Other than thaaat thooough. Not too many super-engaging pics for me to do this episode I guess. Those cutaway ones are alright and I guess people do like them, but they take forever and just don't allow for much creativity. I *could* do all sorts of creative things with them if I had the time, but with how muc...
With their recent discovery, Crimsontrumpets has come alive with activity. Finally the dwarves can begin building their fortress home. But what will they do with their newfound treasure?
Thanks for all your help, m'bastids. Always appreciated. Of course.
Well, I had a lot more fun than usual on these pics, that's for sure. Just so many different new things to draw throughout the course of the episode. Got goblins, beakdogs, trolls and forgotten beats. Really kept me engaged through and through.
Hope you liked it too, m'bastids.
The goblins have come to lay siege to Crimsontrumpets- while the dwarves are attempting to capture Tegatolon, the forgotten beast....
Thank ye, m'bastids.
Guess I never posted these, huh?
Mmmmdecent pics this week I guess. I just wish there were more *new* things to draw, honestly. I seem to run into a problem where I just get bored drawing the same characters again and again throughout the course of a series and the process feels like it's dragging. Thats alright though, I think next episode is going to be better.
Scars, silk, suds and stone...
Crimsontrumpets has prevailed against the King of Dust, but now dangers compound as work continues on their mighty home.
Thanks for everything you maniacs.
Parts 2+3 of maybe 6
Speaking of which. I don't have any idea what scene i'll do next. any suggestions?
You'd think i'd storyboard these things before leaping headlong into them, eh?
Composed by Yifeitang on Fiverr: https://www.fiverr.com/yifeitang
This particular version is 2x the one i'm going to used in the animated intro, but I figured you guys would like to hear the full version. I got a big kick out of this! Haven't worked with Yifeitang before and ended up being very pleased!
Also, I don't usually have extended versions of my songs. A lot of people have asked to see the "full" v...
Hey m'bastids. Got some stuff going on this weekend and while I miiiight be able to force a video into existence, it's probably best not to in the short time i'd have. Instead I think i'll polish up this new intro I've got cooking, get some other things in order and start new the following week. Will post some teasers in th enext couple of days. i think this is going to be a good un'
Thanks for all your support and patience, my dudes.
Hrm, looks like imgur bein' a little B again. Annoying.
Ah well. I had a lot of fun in this episode drawing the mudman king and trying to think about what it's story might be. Fun of think of a distant time when there might have been some civilization of these things in control of some portion of The Infinite Domains.
Was weird drawing that Kogan guy again. I didn't imagine we'd be running into him again so soon. guess the guy has a habit of carrying around heavy loads a...
The quake is his brother, magma his cousin, Volcano vents, his consort.
Thundering steps echo through that dead world below, wreaking chaos in the dark.
The King of Dust.
Thank you all so much, once again, for helping me through this week. Always means a lot, m'bastids.
#5 already, huh? Might be getting time for ol' Crimsontrumpets to have it's own intro i'm thinking? Ehhh maybe. we'll have to see.
Working with a double-edged blade in this series! I am having a *lot* of fun drawing, but it's really been taking too long to do the pics. I kinda forced myself to have a normal weekend this week before I even started into episode 6 just so I don't have a choice as to whether or not I could relax a bit! Hoping it all works out.
Thing i'm most...
The world at present is built upon the stinking corpse of yesterday. Upon this rotting husk crawls swarms of vermin and through it, vile parasites wriggle.
The dwarves of Crimsontrumpets have come, to tan the world's hide, polish it's bones, read it's rites...
...and exterminate the insects.
This one ended up being pretty rough! Thanks for having my back, guys.
Hurricane was nothin'. Literally bounced off of CT. We good!
