Listen, I got a thing for commercials- like the old 90s ones. I've wanted to put fake commercials into episodes for a while now and I think if they're done right it could be entertaining and help out other creators. This isn't a sponsored thing. Just thought it'd be fun.

Got a mix of small, simple photographs and other more detailed pics I did this past month. Really wetna hard on them. Wanted to do somethign to be proud of.

Man, this took wayyyy too long. Part fo the delay was finishing up that Caves of Qud intro. Back on track now. Working on a Caves of Qud episode next. Two weeks. Lets go.
Working on a pumpkin episode and this intro here. Been a project jugglign the two, but I hope to have the pumpkin episode finished before very long.
The Instrumentals were done by Karel Matejcek (On Fiverr), the singing was done by Yuuko Sings (also on Fiverr) adn the backgrounds were done by a friend of mine, "LoveLili" who has a page on Tiktok.

More dwarves even! Goodness, it is pretty difficult to have to keep drawing new babies with their future appearances in mind. I do hope they all grow well.

It has been a fun challenge to try drawing the baby dwarves as they grow while also trying to imagine what they might look like as adults. It was a new challenge with Emmy, but now we have to do it again times 8 or whatever the baby dorf population is up to now lol.
Also, Akon, the Frog golem thing- I had drawn this guy a while back not thinking much about him until THIS episode. I didn't even realize the guy was still alive down there, but he sure is. He is made of native ...
As the fortress grows, the dwarves need to dig- quickly, too! How will the Dwarves of Spearcavern adapt to their exploding numbers?!

See, I run into this problem with posting the wip pics for caves of Qud because the individual pics are often quite boring..Maybe I should stick to posting the qud wips only every couple of days or when I have a fun segment to show off.

I usually get a little bored of drawing the same dwarves again and again, but I haven't gotten it with this crew yet. I somehow feel a bit closer with these Spearcavern dwarves than with other forts. It's pretty nice.
Threw in that Larona easer egg. Did anyone catch it?
Forgot while we were illustrating it that it'd appear during a segment where I was talking about butchering our dogs lol. ah well.
Time marches ever forward as the dwarves continue to laugh, work, fight and grow older. One such dwarf is beginning to question their mission here. Aren't we supposed to be fighters?
