Skullhorror Gallery #3

 It was a little strange being able to draw so many of the forts dwarves in a single episode. In fact, at this point we may have seen a full third of the forts population at least. Just wild really. Especially enjoyed drawing the forgotten beast and the couple of slimy pics up above. I did try to record myself drawing one of the pics, but I couldn't get the set up right. Gonna have another stab at it next week I think. 

Dwarf Fortress Short Forts: Skullhorror #3, Productive Isolation

 Under the fetid slime fields, Skullhorror continues it's growth and in the course of 5 years has come a long way. Our position here is becoming more and more stable by the year and it's high time we got to know the dwarves a little better.

Skullhorror Gallery #2

Oops, forgot to schedule this one and when I woke up the cable was out :p

 Anywho, Yes some fun pics again! I really did like drawing the "creepy crawlers" all over the place. You know, I don't like drawing hands at all, but these were fun for some reason. Weird, huh?

Also, Really liked the couple of aboveground zombie drawings. I really hope I get to do a few more of those!

Oh and the armor! Can;t wait to see the dwarves all dressed up!

Skullhorror #2, Lords and Scholars

 With a safe nook carved out beneath the slime-strewn tundra, will the dwarves be able to create a home in this frozen hellscape? Or will a corpse-army arise from the ruins of Skullhorror?

 Haven't touched it in a while, but I did spend an hour or so on it in the past week so I figured i'd show it off. Got some bubbles in the water, torches in the halls and a slew of "naked" dwarves (I haven't put clothing on the yet)

Skullhorror Gallery #1

 Been a while since i've drawn some zombs! Such a joy. I love the challenge of drawing, say, a zombified giant porcupine. That's why I love DF right there.

Tried to make the dwarves attire similar to that seen in "Waterisland" (the water platform fort) because they're from the same civ.

Really hope these fellas can pull through! I'm a big fan of the fort so far.

Skullhorror #1, Fetid Tundra

 In those lands of fetid frost where corpses roam and none lie dead

Not man nor elf nor goblin found. Only dwarven boots dare tread.

A wicked shriek of ice-crisp wind blows past those wretched ones corpse-born

and on it rides a melody. Skullhorror's voice, it's fabled horn.

Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom Gallery

 Wow, I really did have a great time with these pics. I'm sure there aren't that many super mario fans out there but I really so again, I thank you for letting me indulge myself a bit with this.

Dwarf Fortress Mod: Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom

 It's-a me, y'bearded bastards! Today we're going to be taking a brief look at Indigofenix's Mario Bros-themed mod called "Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom and I am *very* excited! Just having a little fun today and getting a tiny taste of what it has to offer!

 Thanks for letting me indulge myself on this one. I know it's a bit different than normal, but we're heading back to the dwarves next week!

Rise of The Mushroom Kingdom Mod

 Hopefully you guys saw it, but I ran a poll last week and determined that Tuco should take a rest for awhile in Bigscar. A rest she well deserves!

This week we're going to be trying something a little different. A Dwarf Fortress mod entitled "Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom" that adds in all sorts of Super Mario Bros elements.

This thing is huge! I'm hoping you fellas enjoy it. I *certainly* am!

Tuco Gallery #3

 Fun pics once again. Been really enjoying some of the perspective pics that have popped up in this little adventure, Fun to try out ways to make Tuco appear small in her surroundings.  Also it's been forcing me to get a bit more creative in the viewing angles just so every picture isn't just Tuco standing in front of a background. That'd get boring pretty quick!

Also, was great to get a chance at drawing Boogeymen! Haven't drawn one in quite a while!

Tuco Junglejump #3, Fearful Night

 A long journey lies ahead for a tiny kobold. Tuco and Cemir continue their eastward trek, but it will not be a peaceful quest. Tan En is no safe place for a lone kobold...

You know, I didn't realize it while recording/editing, but i'm starting to think this might be a good place to end things for our kobold hero. There were quite a few close calls and she finally managed to reach a place she thinks she can call home. If I keep playing, I can't help but think she'll die eventual...

Wow, the pics in this episode really ran the gamut between simple and complex! A few of those forest pics had me pulling my hair out with all the details, but man do I love it. I dunno, it's like, I love putting the details in, but it slows me down if I take too much time! A tricky balance :()

 I had to repurpose this song from this old project I was working on. Actually, i've used it a couple times now. The last time I used it was in Krugg's Grotto and had a few other pieces added in. Unfortunately neither project ended up going anywhere. I am glad the song finally found a home in adventure mode though!

Tuco Gallery #1

 My god, I never thought i'd get this episode up on time and also be able to do this amount of pics. Just crazy!

Had some trouble on Tuco's design, but I think it grew on me after drawing her a few times.

Also got a bit experimental on some of the backgrounds. I had watched season 2 of disenchantment and was inspired.

Dwarf Fortress Adventure Mode: Tuco Junglejump #1, Alone in the Rain

 Today we're playing some adventure mode. Also, we might learn a thing or two about humility, beetles and talking to strangers.
